Warner was all over Durbin last evening on the floor of the senate, along with McConnell, and Sessions.
THey did great.

BaseballMom,
Perhaps they did. But, I hope you agree Durbin deserves more than a tongue lashing, as I know you would agree that Lott and Newt suffered greatly for purportedly similar conduct.
My original post reflected my observation that the GOP pays "lip service" to these Dem transgressions, whereas the DEMS follow through and exact penalties against the GOP.
IMO, Americans should not tolerate these comments in this age of terrorism- the comments bring comfort to the enemy.
Given that circumstance, the GOP should be looking for censure or resignation. Admonishing and critical speeches on the Senate floor are fine, but there should be more in this situation.
Please understand, I just state my position- and certainly don't mean to be critical of your post. I'm sure you're equally offended by Durbin's comments. -:)

Oh yes. I agree completely with your post.
Durbin should at the very least be censored, and have to resign his leadership post.
Resignation would be better, and Hari-Kari would be best. But this man has no honor.
