When I graduated from Wellesley, the college was so conservative as to be "straight-laced." After Hillary hit the place, it changed forever.

So many celebs and others...do what they want, when they want. And then later, feel like they can pontificate to the rest of us. Ozzy, Madonna, the others, all of their credibility and integrity could fit in thimble.

Shapiro looks with disdain at the careers of pop idols Madonna; the former-Mouseketeers-turned-Madonna-wannabes Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera; and newest Disney “pop tarts” Hillary Duff (who hasn’t sold out yet) and Lindsay Lohan (who has).

My father has told me stories about how his father used to call Lana Turner a slut for wearing those sweaters of hers (no self-respecting woman would do such a thing) and told my father to shut off that hooligan music of Benny Goodman (especially Sing Sing Sing, my grandfather would go nuts...it was banned in the house...the only respectable music then was operettas).

The more things change the more they stay the same.
