Peter admits that he unfortunately did not know enough about the Clintons and how dangerous they could be. He was busy building a business -- Stan Lee Media. Bringing aboard a former president as a goodwill ambassador would have raised hundreds of millions for the company. It was all about a mega business deal, not political ideology. He learned a painful lesson about trying to do business with the Clintons.

Looks like that Time Magazine article needs to be corrected. It says $817 million - actually it says '8' 'lowercase L' '7' million. The lowercase L should be replaced with a period.

Doh. Thanks. I made the typo. Fortunately, the 8.7 mil was correct in the sub-headline.

I hit "l" instead of the period. Thanks for finding the goof. I've asked the Admin Moderator to correct it.
For the record: the fleecing of Castro was $8.7 million.

No problem. Looks like the first instance of "8l7" was fixed, but there's another one a little further into the Time article that's still there.

I watched "Primary Colors" on TV the other night (I rarely go to the movie theater) and got a "spin" on the Clinton's cunningness. Reminded me of the limbo, "How Low Can You Go?"
To: Fruit of the Spirit
They are masters of spin. It helps to have the mainstream media behind them as willing accomplices.

I don't know, Doug.
I've seen people who had no connections to government covert agencies make up stories about having them as a smoke screen for less than admirable behavior.
You seem to trust this guy, but all my alarms are going off at maximum decibels.
