The prophecy of the rebuilding of the Temple much predated Alexandrian and Roman thoughts and writings on the matter. It was defiled and/or destroyed by the Babylonians, the Greeks and the Romans--all with the thread of one competing religion (the religion that influenced Babylon, Macedonia, then Rome) against that of the Hebrews. You might be interested in reading Ezekiel, chapters 40-43.

The title concerns the "Temple". Certainly it has a connection to Jews, but it also has a connection to Christians, which only a bigot would deny.

I think you're hitting the religious equivalent of the "race card" a bit early in the debate. Your analysis and digression of anything I've said is also substantially in error.

So, a "church" is all believers, but what is a "church building" if not a "building". If you wish to discuss the "church" as a metaphysical construct, then do so, but if you wish to discuss "church architecture through the ages", you can do that too. I didn't mix the concepts, but you are doing so.

The only purpose served by such behavior is to create a false sense of self-righteous indignation which enables you to mock Christianity.

I have no doubt in the Scriptures you referenced but in reading the Scriptures it is not clear on the timeline of when this is going to happen. There is a verse that says we will "spared the wrath to come" which I take as meaning we will be spared as Christians the really nasty stuff to come after the Anti-Christ enters the Temple at Jeruselum.

Saint Sophia Church was an Eastern Orthodox Church stolen by Turks after they murdered the priests and hundreds of thousands Orthodox Christians in Constantinople in the 15th century... about 1465. The Turks proceeded to attempt to destroy ALL Christians in the area who would not convert to islam. Turks were BUTCHERS!!

The Great Schism that separated the Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox Church happened in about 1054.

Are Levites among the "new" Sanhedrin?

In general you'd expect them to be, but I don't believe that's a requirement. I know very little about the composition, or validity, of this Sanhedrin.
