Yep, like I said, I still watch "The Great Escape" at least twice a year. And I never pass up a chance to see "The Magnificent Seven". Sometimes, it's nice to be a 30 something kid... ;^)
Wow! Le Mans gets no love. While it only has about 3 pages of dialoge, it does contain some of the best racing footage youre ever likely to see (with the possible exception of Grand Prix.)
My wife bought some Paul Newman salad dressing recently. I read the oh-so-cute, oh-so-hip story on the back and then had to black out a dirty word with a marker, so my kids wouldn't read it.

Agreed; McQueen was always a hero to us car guys - Bullitt and LeMans are still great movies, regardless of what the MSM nabobs say about them...
You were right! And I have seen this movie LWAPS along with all of his others.. No telling what we would have seen from him if he had lived.......
