Thank you so much for pinging me to this thread. I'm going to copy and paste that letter on an email and send it to everyone in my address book. Why haven't I seen that letter before?

even worse is the New York Times.

when our intelligence people caught an Al Queda computer/communications guy, they flipped him to help them identify members of the network that he was in communication with.

the plan was very simple... he would appraise our intelligence people of meets he set up between his network operatives. our agents would be there to identify the operatives, and follow them to their bases of operation.

much, if not all, of the Al Queda network inside the US could have been tracked down through this plan.

but somebody at the Pentagon leaked this information to the NYT. and like good little anti-americans, they PUBLISHED it.

that's flat out treason. they interfered with an intelligence operation in the middle of wartime. even if you're a loony liberal and look the war as a "police action", then they interfered with an ongoing police investigation.
