He died a martyr. God bless his efforts and that of those who will follow.

The outrage by Newsweek will be that he "offended" them with his radical right wing rhetoric. He should not have gone in there attempting to disrespect their religion.
That he was imposing his beliefs on others in their country.
Don't ever expect Newsweek to stand up for the good, the Christian, or the American thing to do. They are merely a propaganda tool to uplift the anti-U.S., anti-Christian, anti-religion, pro-abortion, terrorist loving democrats.

"The enemy may think he's winning, but in the early church, the persecution was a major contributing factor to the spread of Christianity."
Ah.... Persecution Complex. Most religions have it to one degree or another. The sense of self righteousness it bestows upon the persecuted is indeed a powerful emotion, very useful for proselytizing. Early Christians were persecuted horribly, then later became persecutors themselves during the middle ages. Jews of course have been persecuted throughout most of their history. They seem to enjoy it, in a perverse way. They certainly haven't done anything to stop it, even going so far as to set up shop in a neighborhood guaranteed to give them endless years of bloody persecution.
No matter what the religion, persecution is due solely to intolerance of other religious beliefs. The more intolerant the persecutor, the more death and destruction that follows.
Muslims, especially Shiia Muslims have an acute persecution complex. They believe they are being persecuted even when, in fact, it is they who are persecuting others.
They have such a strong Persecution Complex that they actually brag that they welcome death, saying "They love death more than Westerners love life."
So eager are they to become martyrs, they martyr themselves by becoming suicide bombers. It is insane behavior by any standard other than that of the ultra religious.
One has to wonder what God thinks of all the persecution being done in His name?

I hope his soul has entered God's house, and if there is any justice in this existence the muslime barbarians who murdered him will meet their pedophile false prophet in Hell's fires!

I am sure He hates it. But His Truth always prevails. And His people are gradually transformed. We will not know perfection until we see Him face to face in eternity. A "Persecution Complex" may be a way skeptics explain it, but God is in control and uses all means to bring man to Himself.

Terrible. There are simply too many Muslims who are willing to engage in such violence. One day they are going to do something to bring the wrath of the entire world upon them.

According to that movie 'Kingdom of Heaven' the crusaders were white Europeans bent on killing and enslaving peaceful Muslims in the holy land. /BS off
The crusades were a series of defensive wars fought to push back militant Muslims from the Holy Land. The crusading orders (Templars, Hospitaliers, Teutonic Knights) were founded in order to protect pilgrims to the shrines in the Holy Land, as well as recapture the city of Jerusalem. As much as history has been twisted to paint these goals as colonial and expansionist, they were in essence a noble and pious undertaking. Both sides in the crusades had moments of insanity (sacking cities and putting inhabitants to the sword), but this was the status quo for the medieval period. Christians acted no differently in wars with other Christians.
The fact that a millenia later we are finding ourselves in the same position in history (i.e. Muslim invasion), should steel us to the fact that we need to act without hesitation and defend our holy places, as well as the land, faith, and culture we live in. If our Constantinople falls, we will all live as slaves, and second class citizens in our homelands.
Cheers,
CSG

The assailants were identified by a source as a group of 10 Muslims tied to the Jamaat-e-Islami political party... Oh, Osama Bin-Laden's friends!
Isn't it great that we have rational statesmen in the PSOE, SPD and Democratic Party willing to negotiate with these fine gentlemen, whose chief method of political activism consists of ritualistic decapitations and homicidal bomb attacks?
To: Jeff Head
Our clergy had better take note and stop being so docile when it comes to presenting Islam as what it really is; a thoroughly evil movement. Turning the other cheek will get their heads chopped off. They had better get it in their dense heads that Islam is NOT a religion of peace.
Christians do not seem to understand that turning the other cheek does not mean that vigorous defense of life and happiness is not contrary to Christ's teachings.
