This is an odd case. I first believe the laws are wrong. Both should be charged with murder. BUT.. given the law legalizing abortion, I understand why the girl has not been charged. BUT.. the boy ONLY stepped in for the doctor in this case. I would have used that in his defense. I would have insisted my client was practicing medicine without a license.

#5 you are correct, and I have said over and over if we could find a DA who would charge an abortion doctor we would get a cinviction and put a stop to this crap.

It's a shame this woman can't be prosecuted. But she will have to deal with the guilt for the rest of her life that she murdered her own baby, and that her lover took all the punishment for what they both did and she got away scot free.

This case really isn't a case about a boy beating up a girl who asked him too in order to induce a miscarriage.
The real reason they threw the boy in jail is for practising medicine without a license. The abortionists don't want competition.
