Post #91 is very good also!
I need a better image editor -- I used MS paint and MS Photoeditor to make that -- next go-round it'll be better I hope.
I'm learning to use Cool Page and Dreamweaver - not easy.
any of 'em freeware?
Char (:
I already apologized for the missive. But don't lean on me too hard about the military being caught again with their pants down.
Believe it or not, most of us nonmilitary types figured that the Pentagon would have had some means of insuring against an attack. I guess its naive, but with all the attacks we have had prior to 9/11, you would have figured that each guard shack would have had a stinger or something.
Sorry spanalot. I didn't read the thread all the way through. I didn't realize someone had already mentioned that to you.
No one expected to be attacked in such a manner. Including the Pentagon. I'm quite certain that it can't happen again.
At least I hope that's true.
thanks for posting, a little light hearted reading for y'all.
i have found their societies to be quite syphilised..
You're welcome .. thanks for pinging people who can also enjoy it.
Cool Page is free for a month. Pretty reasonable after that - I think it's $30-40 bucks. Dreamweaver is a bit more sophisticated .. ranges from $300-400.
BTTT
I'll tell you what I do care about. I care about the liberal handwringing bleeding heart imbeciles who feel that we have to kiss the asses of these Islam aholes by even having to wear gloves to handle the POS koran ... while applauding some other ahole for placing a cross in pee. That makes me care enough to want to spit.
My only beef is they didn't flush or kick more and harder.
Thanks for pointing that out! I didn't even realize it.
I agree with everything but this. Our military must be held to the highest standard. Either torture them or don't, but don't pretend it's sh!nola when it's sh!t.
Shalom.
While I don't necessarily agree with that treatment either .. the intimidation factor is what counts. Believe me .. it may have seemed a little over the top .. but when you have people whose only goal in life was to kill you .. being especially civil to them is not the key to getting them to talk.
At least we didn't tape their arms to a board and then cut their arm off - spurting blood everywhere.
I'm not 100% sure I'm against what was done. But I am sure that I do care. We need to be careful not to become complaisant about how the army treats prisoners - even if they are not subject to the Geneva Convention.
Shalom.
Oh yes, I agree. We do need to care how our military treats prisoners. But .. when prisoners are gaining weight, have good fresh food, clean clothes, clean bedding, fresh air, there is no way this is a general attitude of torture - it's absurd.
But .. as I screamed at FOX the other day. You can't explain to people what torture ISN'T if they don't know what torture IS.
By the American stations refusing to show the true torture videos from Saddam, the ACLU can use the prison photos as "torture" - because a lot of the public has no idea those pictures are NOT TORTURE.
