I haven't seen the form you reference, but as a teacher and as a parent, I'm sure that in my state and/or school district most of what you reference is either law or policy already.

The only thing I'm not altogether certain of is how much parental input is required at the high school level for health classes, which include some sex education as well as instruction on not drinking or using drugs while driving, and other content such as exercise & nutrition.

If the antiwar group came to a high school in your community and gave this 45 minute presentation, with no other point of view provided, what would the reaction be from the students, parents, and faculty?

Would there be applause? Outrage? Shrugged shoulders? Angry parents bombarding the school board with complaints?

In my community, I don't believe it would be allowed to begin with, and if it were I believe there would be serious repercussions for whoever allowed it.

IMO, schools reflect the community and its values.

Well, I know of teachers that blatantly promote Democrats/liberals while attacking Republicans/conservatives, from first-hand reports by students (and not just in high school). I remember "Famous Gay People" posters in the halls years ago, and the junior high condom on a banana lesson. And, I haven't yet got an answer about whether the We Are Family video was shown to little ones in our district.

The community response? A handful of angry parents. Mostly just apathetic "what can you do about it?" shrugs, then back to the latest reality show or sports banter.

You're right. Sad reflection. We're going to pay soon.

McGovern described the war in Iraq as a "war for oil" because, as he explained, "we're running out of oil," and the war on terror as caused by "America's support for Israel." He told the students that 100,000 innocent Iraqis had been killed by America (repeating a false story that the left was spreading

As far as "war for oil", why doesn't anyone point out that the US imports more oil from EITHER Venezuela or Canada, than any single nation, mideast or other. That the oil that Iraq exports or has exported, doesn't put it in the top 5 of mideast oil exporters, let alone the world top 10. And that with the amount of oil the US gets from Iraq, that the rest of the world benefits more from this war than we do.

As far as the US being a puppet for Israel, lets see, your going to tell me that a nation of 6 million people controls a nation of 270+ million people? That 100 million Arabs are being oppressed by 6 million jews?

And lastly 100,000 innocent people were killed by Americans in the Iraq war. First, I'm not sure on this, but I don't think 100,000 total have died in the Iraq war. Next, do they include the women and children that Iraqi soldiers used as shields to cowar behind? In defiance of course. Do they also include the men and boys who were forced to take up arms, or else the wives and mothers and sisters and babies would be raped, tortured, and murdered? Do they also include all the people killed by "freedom fighters" and "insurgents" Who aren't even Iraqis, but Muslim FANATICS from OTHER COUNTRIES?

There are so many REAL FACTS that you never hear about, that I think the real disinformation in this war, was not our military vs. Iraqs military. Its our own media and leftist elite vs. our own COUNTRY.

Treason is best described as AIDING and PROVIDING COMFORT to the ENEMY. Well the MSM and Left have aided the enemy with their disinformation. And they have provided comfort with there support.

Media Benjamin's Code Pink strikes again.

Let there be no doubt, some time in the future, events will warrant having to remove these evil treasonous slime from the gene pool. The very survival of our Republic will depend on it. Those of the side of Liberty shall prevail -- in the end, good always triumphs over evil.
