Because of all the stuff that went on with the 'freedom riders' coming down, the turmoil we went through during this time. Mississippi is the most integrated state in the union and the most monitored by the justice department. They watch every little thing we do but a lot of other states get by with a lot.

What is something I would like to see on the site is we tell each other where we are or came from. Wouldn't surprise me at all if we did not come across a old friend or someone we went to school with. For instance, I am from Greenville, spent 11 years of the police department there, moved on to Belzoni as Chief then was offered the same position in Pear. I now live on the Gulf Coast I was born is 1936 in G'Ville. Just a thought, maybe some of you will chime in as well,

That is very true.
However, I think MS is doing well in this area,
and would do well without government monitoring.

Maybe the Feds should turn their eyes elsewhere,
where they are needed more. ;o)
