"There certainly were days when I felt I was rode hard and put to bed wet,"

....He worked in a brothel?

That is one of the better Ratherisms. One might say that Dan is now out like a light in a Texas whorehouse.

Rather a victim? Now isn't that terrible? Who victimized Mr. Rather? He was victimized by himself? Isn't that just like a liberal. If you can't be victimized by some else you victimize yourself.

For an alternate view of what should have happened at CBS because of Rathergate, check out this Transmission from an Alternate Universe.

Well, I just tuned in this evening, and to stay on topic I pose this question:

How about a network (not a show) created around continuous chit-chat between Larry King and D. Rather?

Call it the BS2A's network.

Off-topic, but really caught me: Today on C-Span there was an hour devoted to Mass. Gov. Mitt Romney as the featured speaker at a N.H. State Republican Women's group.

I had never observed Romney before, had heard a lot about him, so I watched the program. Romney is absolutely presidential material! Not that I'm that tuned in to the machinations of how candidates come to the fore, but this man will definitely be the one who gets my vote, barring someone popping up who's even better. (Difficult.)

See, I have been considering not voting for president in 2008 if McLame is our candidate, but seeing Romney assured me that we do have a very, very viable candidate.

Please don't take the Rather thread off-track by following with Romney stuff. I just wanted to share my experience today with you, and hope you will find the opportunity to see or listen to him when you get the chance.

Rather..."rode hard and put to bed wet". That's not a whorehouse scenario, it's a gay bathhouse description.
