Well .. when all these prima donas get rid of their private jets and limos which burn more fossil fuel than my little Mirage .. then I might listen to them .. but in the meantime .. this global warming junk is just that - JUNK science and the poor taxpayers of CA are going to get stuck with the bill .. just like they stuck us with the stem cell research costs - when we are opposed to it.

"The voluntary goals, set forth in an executive order Schwarzenegger planned to describe in an afternoon speech....

But because they're voluntary, they won't likely have as much impact as some scientists and state lawmakers want. The California Assembly this week overwhelmingly passed a bill to impose a mandatory 7 percent reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2010."

Voluntary goals are mere window dressing. People should be worried about the CA Dem Legislature, they just passed a bill for a mandatory reduction.

The giant sucking sound Arnold will be hearing in the future is that of California business leaving at light speed.

I'm not sure he should do that. I read just within the last few weeks that the latest observations indicate that because of human efforts, the air is much cleaner, thus allowing more sunlight to reach the earth's surface making the planet brighter and expediting the global warming phenomenon.

Arnie gone Green??

What do you mean, "gone green"? This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone who had checked out his website when he was running for governor.

There is no "Global Warming", same kind of nonsense as people who say oil is a finite resource. It's all about lying to people to try and get them to change their lives. Why is Arnold even giving this commie liberal crap any credence?

Hey Look!

States are VOLUNTARILY cutting back emissions without signing on to any binding treaties.

Bush is a genius.

Ah yes, the Republican savior who was supposed to pull California out of the abyss.

Go back to making movies, RINOLD, and leave the governing to real conservatives.

Gawd, Arnold, I love you when you're fighting the Far Left for sensible budget- and districting-reforms in Sacramento. I can't STAND you when you cave in to your wife and go all "Lookit me! I'm GOOD because I'm all GREEN and stuff! NOW will you love me, liberals?"

Clue-by-four for ya, Arnie: They will NEVER love you. The time for diplomacy is long since over. Now get back to effin' Sacramento, pound skulls, and get those ballot initiatives qualified for the special election. Do NOT waste time or political capital on these Greenie events.
