Dear God, please don't let Scott suffer the way Terri suffered. Let him receive the care he needs from people who love him.

I did not know Mikey had the cat put down. Another reason he will suffer in hell!

Yeah, why don't they get divorced? Maybe they can't get as much money that way, the greedy buggers!

I just hope Scott's Mom gets a divorce in the works right away on his behalf. Since he can communicate, it should not be difficult. Also, since he can communicate, why doesn't the judge make his Mom the legal guardian since he does not want anything to do with his wife? I don't understand that.

Well, she needs to move ahead with divorce proceedings, get the lawyer to get full guardianship since Scott can communicate and does not want to be with his wife. His doctor can verify that.

I would not wait if I were her, or they might be looking at a replay of the Terri Schiavo story. If he were my son, I would not wait for that to happen.

The child is an American citizen and so is his father. The mother is not. Also, if they check her background in Poland, they might just come up with a criminal background. One would hope. That would get her out of the picture fast.

They should call the S.P.C.A. if animal control won't help. Otherwise, petition the court on Scott's behalf to gain custody of the dog. The dog is his.

May God watch over Scott and those who care for him and give them peace and strength. May He restore Scott to health in His service. May He also ensure that Scott's dog is returned to him, in Jesus' name.

I have no idea if any agency has been notified about the dog or anything about deporting the wife.

I know that it practically takes an act of Congress to get animal control to come out, unless of course a feral cat shows
signs of injury.

Well it would be poetic justice, isn't that what it's called.

There was a doc in TX being sued for giving preemie infants lethal injections instead of care. Sometime during the legal fanagling his house burned down killing him, his wife, and child. Sad sad sad!

MS even said he had the cats put down on national tv. Not a qualm about it.

I think in Florida, marital assets have to be split but I'm not sure.

Maybe Scott can have a say about who is his guardian. I guess the judge would have some determinators in deciding if he will be allowed to make that judgement. Right now though we're not going to have a lot of info about the court dealings until after the fact.

It's a shame that families have to go through some legal wrangling when they're dealing with the trauma of such an injury.

Yes, poetic justice. Some folks call it Karma. It's sad about that doctor's wife and child, but I doubt there was a river of tears for him.
