"Thgey should declare all environmentalist Watermelon groups as terrorist organizations and ship 'em all off to Git'mo."

I don't think it would be fair to tell our marines to take custody of scum like Suckling, and then tell them that they're not allowed to bash him in that "alternative lifestyle" pubic hair he cultivates on his wussy face.

"I wish the Bush administration would use RICO on some of these enviro/state/fed triads."

I wish he'd just fire the fed branch of those triads.

many environmentalists are taking a page from tribal cultures and seeking to eliminate the use of the baby diapers altogether.

All of this reverence towards "tribal cultures" is not only amusing but sanctimonious and condescending as well.

If Indians had diapers, don't you think they would have used them? The hippies always forget that if given the chance, these tribal people would much prefer to live with modern conveniences like electricity and medicine than the stone-age deprivations that they currently exist in.

Wait, the enviro-wacko fireworks are about to start.

Over the past thirty years the environmentalists have shut down logging, and the brush and dead trees have slowly accumulated in our national forests. Loggers have not even been able to go in and thin out the deadwood. Ever-increasing underbrush is a prescription for massive fire, and combined with drought, have turned millions of acres into tinder boxes. The coming forest fire season is predicted to be the worst yet.

As the West bursts into flames, remember who is really to blame.

Yes, and that promise of suits is making most of them very quiet re widening the killer road and making it safer.

In the same county, some farmers and ranchers who got fined by over aggressive county officials due to bogus Green Nazi Rules re their property are looking into suing everyone connected with the Nazi Green rulings and fines.

In the same county, the rabid leaders of the Sierra Club were voted out two years ago and replaced with land owners. That has stopped and eliminated the Nazi Green rulings against land owners.

So we are witnessing my type of Green Revolution a regime change in the Green Leadership and civil courts for the displace Green Nazis.

Wow...great article. It's infuriating that these kind of groups get away with this business every day.

Kudos to Chilton for exposing them as the lying weasels they are.

Over the past thirty years the environmentalists have shut down logging, and the brush and dead trees have slowly accumulated in our national forests.

Yep! In a natural state, forest fires typically kill dead and diseased trees while more healthy trees are able to survive and reproduce. Because humans have (by necessity) encroached into the forests, the need for forest *management* is of tantamount importance.

The enviros have thwarted reasonable forest management at every opportunity. The result, as you said, is a tinderbox. Forest fires now have the potential to burn so hot that they can kill everything, including healthy trees and sterilize the soil for generations.

The people that claim to care the most for the environment seem to be the ones who know the least about it.

Thanks for posting this. You beat me to it.

There's a news rack in my apt. complex
with the New Times and I usually peek
at the headlines and rarely read it,
but I caught the headline on the cover,

"Holy Cow" and remembered the press release I
posted when Mr. Chilton won his case.

Great Story.

What's to prevent the Center for Biological Diversity from declaring bankruptcy and avoiding the judgement? And then starting up under a new name and continuing its harassment.

My company just dealt with a bankruptcy declared by a client, so I'm familiar with the issues after retaining an attorney for an hour to explore the ramifications. The client was an Indian company headquartered in Mumbai (ironically, the company partner they stiffed was also an Indian), with a C corporation branch office here in the U.S.

You have to do your own legwork to track whether or not they set up under a new name, but the courts generally look unfavorably upon attempts to declare bankruptcy and then come right back into the same business. If you catch the bankruptcy filer doing this, you will be able to file in court against them, and start the process of attaching their assets. Enforcement of the collection of any judgements of course, is another matter entirely.

Anyone familiar with bankruptcy law?"

Good question. The Marxists tried a special exemption to prevent Pro-Lifers from BK protection, which was an entirely different issue....

Meanwhile, how about a post with all the Directors and Officers of the org?

This is great news.

Deceit is not an uncommon practice among enviro groups. I remember a decade ago when the Sierra Club circulated a glossy report among legislators on the damage of clear cutting. It showed a flank of Mt. Shasta and attributed the lack of vegetation to timber harvest, when in actuality, it was forest fire caused. They also had a picture of a sparse vegetated hill captioned with something to the effect that harvest was the culprit, when in actuality it was serpentine soil.

The Center For Biological Diversity is a non-profit. I'd love to see a listing of their big donors. Funny thing, they don't make that info available on their website.
