That sounds like a fantastic trip! Let me know when the time gets closer and we will try and arrange to meet you if you are game.
Driving across I-90 from northern Idaho into Montana is beautiful. Cut south at Missoula and take that highway down through Hamilton and to LOst Trail Pass, cut east there up and over Chief Jospeh pass back into Montana. Drive over to Dillon and then over to Virginia Cityu and from there to West Yellowstone. South through the park from there, down into Jackson, Wyoming. That's just one suggestion. You can't really go wrong on such a trip.
Good Man!
Thanks again, from all of us...
hehehe...We're just a bunch of old geezers...but with fire in our bellies.
I forgot how to look up someone's signup number. How do you do that?
For example, mine is
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/user-posts?id=7474
Meaning I am 7474 sign up.
At least, that is how it was explained to me some time ago. Yours is:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/user-posts?id=255
Meaning you are sign up number 255 my friend.
Suddenly, I feel really old.
Realize what this entails: both DeWhine and Voinovich have been the most solid pro-life votes in the Senate. But this "single-issue" can no longer guide us if they can't make solid decisions about our national security, immigration, and our judicial system.
FR has made a difference. Ultimately, what it is pioneering on the internet will have as great an impact on the education of our fellow Americans about the true roots of our republic and liberty as conservative talk radio has. I believe that.
I believe there are others, equally pro-life, who also will not sell out in this fashion. I trust (and hope and pray) that the good people of Ohio will find them and put them in office.
The U.N. is a huge joke. The liberals want U.S. representatives at the U.N. who will follow the siren song of business as usual. . where corrupt officials get rich on the backs of the poor and on Uncle Sucker's dollars. It has always been, "Ante up, Uncle Sucker, and we will smash you in the chin even harder!" The cold, hard, contemptuous tone those third world U.N. reps take toward the U.S. leaves me amazed at their gall.
Democracts, as all liberals, are emotionally driven, not fact driven. Bunch of blubbering crybabies.
IMHO, it's far too late for the UN to shape up. It is in fact doing what it was designed to do...sucking the US dry. We need to be out of the UN and send them all packing post haste.
The work of the people, who went out in such large numbers in November of 2004, is still not done. Nor will it ever be. Eternal vigilance against just this sort of thing is the job and prevue of the citizenry.
It is awful damned hard to explain to a soldier returning from Iraq who has seen his comrades fall while serving the United States of America that while he was gone the government that sent him at risk of life and limb didn't even have the fortitude to stop an invasion directly upon America.
We need to double all of our efforts and get those very returning soldiers involved in the fight. They have a powerful voice that will not go unheard and cannot be ignored.
And we are honored as well Jeff, to share this forum with you. Your articles are always a complement to this site, and your opinion often a moderating influence.
As the George Jones song goes: "My body's old, but I ain't impared........I don't need no rocking chair!!!!!"
Hehehe..old George Jones had a way with words. Merl Haggard could 'xplain things too.

"Unite to Fight" Against Illegal Immigration SUMMIT
James Gilchrist will be speaking with Colorado Congressman Tom Tancredo during a weekend long summit, Memorial Day weekend (May 28 and 29, 2005).
For sure-not to mention David Allen Coe, who has his own way of milking tragedy for a buck, a laugh or a dadburned hit song.
