So are the democrats talking? or do they just say 'We filibuster! and then go home?' Make those rats talk long enough and eventually they will say something that will come back to bite them in the ass.

I have a question: have Republicans ever used the filibuster tactic to stall debate, or is this a purely Democrat method?

Ahhh, the rats are our enemies best friends, they continue to do nothing but divide America. I hope they do fillibuster, the nation will take notice and imo won't appreciate the rats obstructionism.

And oh yes, Frist push the button before the rats defer to the UN to impose sanctions against the GOP's 'Nuclear' ambitions. /sarc off

NUKE 'EM

This political fantasy brought to you by the Senate GOP. Although the average GOP Senator has the balls of a rampaging bull field mouse, the ASPCA has certified that no field mice were harmed during the production of this post.

Not really - the GOP brokers were caught with their pants and panties down. The excuse is legititmate, I have to concede, if sleazy. But then again, I didn't expect anything more.

"WTF FRIST JUST VOTED NO"

In order to ask for reconsideration, he must be on the side that won the vote, IOW, the dems. Brit Hume just explained.

The Republicans have the votes to shut down a ton of federal funding in blue states.

For instance, New York, Chicago, and San Francisco are blue cities in blue states that get a ton of federal dollars. Just eliminate almost entirely all federal dollars to them for everything under the sun.

They want to use political extortion, well "The Untouchables" teaches how to play in Chicago.

The GOP should block the UN dues.

Of course he can. Again, he didn't feel he needed to because no party really has ever filibustered against a presidential nominee. But again, the clause in the constitution that people use to say that judicial filibusters are unconstitutional doesn't just mention judges, but ALL PRESIDENTIAL NOMINEES. So yeah, the nuclear option can and should be used to ban filibusters of all presidential nominees!

I can't in good faith send money into the RNC knowing that it'll end up in the hands of guys like DeWine.

I think this is just a stall and Bolton will pass tomorrow or next week. But the real issue is the democrats are obstructing and delaying things just to retain a measure of control. They are overly politicizing every Senate action and stalling the nation's business. Republicans should call them out on it and extend zero courtesies in return. Not make unnecessary compromises.
