You must have dismissed what I said in #197. (kindof like you dismiss the barbaric Koranic verses Ali Sina exposes) When the masses are educated and deprogrammed, Islam will fall.
I find it quite odd that you are so resistant to such an idea.... while claiming that you "really couldn't care less what religion anyone chooses", and that you believe Muslims should be free to denounce and leave Islam. Your resistance to mass education regarding Islam, your denial of the lies, oppression and terrorism within Islam (and Koran),and your continued defense of the Koran, leads me to believe, despite your protestation, you DO care....very much. Study http://www.faithfreedom.org and http://www.apostatesofislam.com
"You must have dismissed what I said in #197."
Yep - Thinking that you can re-educate terrorists via "Books, pamphlets, internet, and old fashioned "word of mouth" ..." is pretty foolish - in fact, like the Dems when they are losing, it will enflame them even more.
Unless of course that's your plan, have them blow up a few re-education schools and you might be able to identify them...
You have a knack for (purposefully ;-) missing the point. Let me (attempt to) help you once more. You continue to focus on only re-educating "suicide bombers" or "terrorists". Try real hard to think beyond that.
Why do you think a massive education campaign has to be directed at suicide bombers/terrorists? It should be directed at ALL Muslims...even the good ones who do not engage in terrorism. Expose the lies, oppression, and terrorism that Islam (and the Koran) teaches. Educate ALL the Muslims we can in order to free them from oppressive Islamic ideology...and to make the world a safer place for all. When enough Muslims denounce and leave Islam, it will crumble. You needn't focus on whether or not the suicide bombers "check their email in the morning"...or whether or not terrorists are even educable. There are enough good people who are educable and to whom truth really matters. When enough of the good realize they have been lied to...Islam WILL fall. Forget whether or not suicide bombers/terrorists will "get it". American slaves didn't eventually realize their freedom because the worst racists finally "got it". Some people will never "get it". But you have to educate the masses, so the good/intelligent/educated ... will eventually overtake the evil and/or ignorant. When enough understand the truth, the evil ideology will fall from within.
Pull yourself out of the dark ages and study www.faithfreedom.org to understand the truth. The truth will set you free.
" It should be directed at ALL Muslims...even the good ones who do not engage in terrorism. "
You see, I'm not on the " save their souls" track - ANYTHING we do that attempts to "kill" Islam will only CAUSE the terrorists to become more fanatic, you will have MORE "defenders of the faith" cropping up.
Why not simply encourage the good ones ? It seems like you would have most of them "on your side" already, and you can be using them to overtake the evil ones without starting from scratch.
Your plan seems like - " we will get rid of all the bad drivers in England by teaching everyone to drive on the right side of the road instead "
You're mistaken. I'm not on the "save their souls" track. That's in God's hands. I'm advocating freedom/liberty for all. Islam is ANTI freedom/liberty.
RE: ANYTHING we do that attempts to "kill" Islam will only CAUSE the terrorists to become more fanatic, you will have MORE "defenders of the faith" cropping up.
Yes, I see that there are numerous "defender of the faith" websites cropping up in response to the Ali Sina type sites. And that's wonderful because people can scrutinize the articles, discussions, and debates...and (gasp!) decide for themselves what is true!
And as more Muslims denounce and leave Islam, THEY will be the ones to educate the fanatics and weed out terrorists. Continuous massive education will gradually expose, weaken, and destroy the faith. Islam will crumble from within. The world will be a better place.
RE: Why not simply encourage the good ones? It seems like you would have most of them "on your side" already, and you can be using them to overtake the evil ones without starting from scratch.
Now we're back to how to identify the "good guys" from the "bad guys". With a massive education program, you target all you can(don't have to worry about who's getting the educational info) ...and over time, achieve victory. A "get the muslim bad guy" plan is too complicated/confusing/uncertain and you only end up putting a bandaid on a recurring cancer. Best to expose...shine the light of truth...on the foundation.
"Yes, I see that there are numerous "defender of the faith" websites ..."
Your really have to get off your comp more - as I said before the terrorists are not checking their e-mail or creating websites.
I WAS surprised though to see that the faithfreedom site only hosts about 10 pages in Arabic, and appears to include only ONE " why I left Islam" in Arabic. I would suppose that would be the language the "hard core" would be most comfortable using.
LOL...struck a nerve, have i? And here you said you "couldn't care less". Me thinks you doth protest too much.
Remember, Ali Sina, and all those EX Muslims are your friends. They can help. The truth will set you free.

Methinks thou doest thinkith thou knoweth more then thou doest - he said while sprinkling chicken blood around the hexagram...
yeah, yeah... all those FORMER Muslims at www.faithfreedom.org and www.apostatesofislam.com are interpreting the Koran incorrectly. And denial isn't just a river in Egypt. Perhaps you're fooling yourself...not anyone else though.
"Perhaps you're fooling yourself...not anyone else though."
You see, they are trying to convince Muslims that Islam is a false religion - where I don't care if it's false or not.
But there is an interesting statement on the website -
"My criticism applies to all religions. The very concept of God sending messengers to be known and worshipped is absurd. All those who come pretending to bring a message from an invisible god that only they can see are charlatans and their claims are bogus."
RE: You see, they are trying to convince Muslims that Islam is a false religion - where I don't care if it's false or not.
It's very apparent that you care very much. You've spent way too much time on this thread defending Islam to not care. You fool no one.
It's "interesting" that you even took note of Ali's statement since you really "don't care" what other people choose to believe...and since you agree that Muslims should be free to denounce and leave Islam.
