Playing out just like you predicted. Which is better than pressuring Israel to turn over Jerusalem, and giving them money. Under Oslo, the cost of "resettling" the refugees, half of whom are in Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan, all of whom live in squalor, was estimated at $20 to $25 billion. It wasn't talked about a lot. My guess the US would have paid upwards of half of that, with contributions from the EU, and smaller contributions from the Arab states. I doubt it's gotten any cheaper. This will be a very expensive proposition.

We need to pray for GWBush who leans naturally to the left. George Bush shoots the terrorists with one hand and himself (and us and Israel) with the other, using open borders and money to terrorist organizations. The Lord himself will fight against us if we help Israel's enemies.
I may get flamed for this but I have serious doubts that Bush is actually a believer. These actions are just reinforcing my doubts. I just can't forget that Bush said Christians and Muslims worship the same God. Any believer would know that's not true.
May God have mercy on this wayward nation.

Hard to judge someone's faith - treading on shaky ground there. "For now we (GWBush and us) see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known."1 Cor 13:12 (parenthesis mine). Rather than judge him (its hard for me sometimes) we should pray for him and for Israel. http://www.daytopray.com/folders.asp action=display&record=1

I agree it is hard to judge but God commands that we stay informed and beware of wolves in sheeps clothing. I do pray for him. I just hope he is listening to the Father. Right now, I have my doubts.
I'm not worried about Israel. God promised to take care of Israel. Our nation, however, has no such promise.

Wasn't Jerusalem in Arab hands nearly fifty years ago?

Yep.
But God had other plans.

In fact, Jordan controlled Jerusalem up until the 6-Day War in 1967. The cost to them of their offensive war against Israel, designed to kill every possible Jew and/or drive them into the sea, was high.
As I said in my previous post, God had other plans...

I don't think they deserve any aid, but if there is going to be ANY aid to the PA, tie it to the lack of terrorist attacks. Spread the payments out. One terrorist attack against Isreal, and the payments are over. Permanantly. Period!*************
I agree, but is that likely to happen?

There are conservatives in the Republican party?
I used to think Santorum was a solid conservative until he got on his minimum wage hike kick...

Boy, that's an "effective" war on terror he's fighting..huh?
First, leaving the borders wide open..and labeling patriots who want to enforce laws that the gov't doesnt as "vigilantes".
Now, donating money to mass murderers. Huh...we took saddam out because he gave $25k to suicide bombers (among other more serious things). Now Bush has given 50 MILLION DOLLARS to these sh*theads. Way to go man!!
