Oprah and other rich Hollywood stars are indicative of people who become so rich and famous that they no longer live in the same world as the rest of us. Now if there were an Islamic extremist cell in the US that was only targeting, kidnapping and murdering rich entertainment personalities then you might see a change in attitudes.

This is reflective of the unfortunate side of Oprah's product, which is the "handwringing, crying and slobbering" form of liberalism. Sadly, it really sells to a mindless sector of our society, the same sector that provides the ratings to soap operas and Jerry Springer.
She knows this. She is not stupid. Feeding the braindead in our society has become a HUGE INDUSTRY and O is just one who has successfully capitalized on it.

They day Oprah professed to be a Christian but then turned around and tried to humiliate a woman for saying that she believe the only way to eternal life was through Jesus Christ I turned off the sister and haven't watched her since. More women need to do this.

Schlussel makes that same point. Go to her website to read the whole thing. There is really a lot of unbelievable stuff she dug up on Oprah. But Schlussel asked me not to post her whole columns b/c she wants people to go to her website. I highly recommend it in this case. There is a ton of outrageous Oprah pro-Islamist stuff.
