"Butler and Cook were last seen in Duval County. People who know Cook told First Coast News he is probably living in the mountains of Kentucky."
Take a good look at them all because they could be anywhere! These are considered the top5 most dangerous predators -but- these are not the only sex offenders that are missing. You can look up your zip code at FDLE and see all registered offenders in your area.
Why are they out of jail?
Ping to pics of perverts who need to be located.
You know...I will never understand that. The last one absconded straight out of jail.
Florida just initiated the Jessica Lunsford Act which will require sex offenders to wear a gps bracelet. That very week a guy cut his off and was awol for several days. IMO that was just an "in your face" action to show that we can't control them even with gps.
They should never breath again imo. Automatic death penalty sounds like appropriate punishment but I guess the ACLU would never agree to that!
I check the site on a regular basis and encourage folks to do the same. FDLE is very open if you call with questions about these pervs. They live in all areas from country club to slums, people shouldn't think that their neighborhood is immune because it isn't in a poor area.
Wow...that last one looks like someone I know.
The reason most of these guys are on the street is that the Supreme Court ruled several years ago that they had to be released since they were entitled to gain time as a result of the legislature's decision to let criminals go early due to "overcrowding". Nevermind that they'd been convicted of crimes with twenty year sentences, and actually sentenced to twenty years. Since the legislature passed laws allowing some criminals out early, those laws had to be extended to all criminals.
And of course, it was the judiciary which ruled that the prisons were "overcrowded" to begin with.
The fact is that the judiciary is simply not doing its job, and needs to be made the subject of some "checks and balances."
That is definitely a creepy thought! I guess your adrenaline is going now. Check it out, you never know! Unless of course you live outside Duval County and the person you have in mind has been a long time resident whereever you are.
Question is do we have any officials with the spine to take the Black Robes to task?
Carli Brucia's killer could have been in jail and no harm to her if the judge had incarcerated him as his probation officer requested.
The Judiciary is an entity unto themselves.
Isn't that the truth?
What we need is for the media to take them to task. So far, O'Reilly seems to be the only one who's willing to do so.
Media would definitely help but the media can't make laws or enforce them.
"You can look up your zip code at FDLE and see all registered offenders in your area."
Nice feature, but I don't see that it applies to anyone except those that live in FL. In any event, get yer concealed carry permit today, Floridians!
bttt
"The Judiciary is an entity unto themselves."
True words for sure. Need all states to try and pass laws allowing for hospitalization until they are shown to have been cured after prison sentances are served. And since they cannot be cured, they can be kept off the streets forever. But such laws have a tough time in court.
FYI Missing person ping list
Have you seen any of them?
Yep!
He's the number one sex offender!
