Is it just me, or does it seem that the dems have resorted to using a "No I didn't!" tactic on just about every issue? As the Dark Master taught, "Deny, deny, deny."

Democratic-leaning King County They final numbers in King County were 2-1 in favor of Gregoire. I guess that's a "rat-leaning" percentage.

Thank you. Seattle is the city of extremists - who voted 80% to send Jim McDermott back to D.C. He's an extremist's extremist. They counterbalance the generally mild-mannered, middle-of-the-road folks in the rest of our state.
This is my state too... and yours... and I'm not giving up.

(and that is NOT sarcasm) No it isn't. There were a lot of little "oopsies" by a lot of people and I'm not sure if our law is designed to deal with this type of distributed fraud - a little here, a little there, to the tune of a 171-vote swing between Count #2 and #3.
I will tell you city folk this: the rest of us - Republicans and many Democrats - are ticked at Seattle. This is no longer right vs. left, but rural vs. urban, with orthogonal division.

It's interesting that part of Julia Patterson's proposed election reform is all-mail voting. A primary conduit for existing fraud (as I also suspect) is posited as the solution. Sickening.

Revote? Nope. The WA State Socialist Supreme Court will not allow any positive result in a superior court to stand. Count on it. They may not have a choice. The trial judge determines the facts, and the state SC can only interpret the law. If the trial judge determines that "x" number of votes for each candidate are invalid - I think there's little they can do about it.
This ruling is a big deal because he has already hinted that statistical arguments will be allowed. There was some dispute as to whether the "felon vote" statistically applied statewide would overturn the election. BUT, if they can apply the same statistical analysis to the "extra" votes in King county... I think there's more than enough to invalidate the election.

Now lets see... There are more votes cast in Philadelphia in 2004 than there are registered voters and the WA Governor election is stolen by the Dems. Meanwhile the Democrat spin machine screams that the 2004 election is invalid because Ohio was stolen by the trifling margin of 130,000 votes.

Believe it or not, Washington State is a lot redder than it seems.
Except for the Spokane mayor. That is going to hurt the Republican party in that area.
To: NormsRevenge
when will Washington split the red-state and blue-state areas apart? good idea
To: NormsRevenge
Personally, I don't think the Judge has any choice but to invalidate the election results and call for a new election. I don't either. If there's more votes than voters, how can anyone not notice? What votes get thrown out?
The only way to get an accurate count is to redo the election. It'll cost, but people need to know who really won - for real.

Except for the Spokane mayor. That is going to hurt the Republican party in that area.I don't think so. He's such a blatant screwball, his own party is working overtime to get him out of office and making a lot of noise about it in public. Repubs in the area will pull together long before the next election to find a strong candidate.

After this week's chummy little Senate deal, it does my heart good to be reminded that there are Republicans SOMEWHERE in this country who are willing to fight. Kick ass, WA!

We had a Boise Mayor kinda like that and elected a democrat the next time. But I think it is because voters are getting sick of "RINOS" , or "Moderate Republicans"

Did the mayor's job return to Republicans after that? Is Boise as conservative as Spokane and other places in Idaho? My daughter lives near Sandpoint and they use old Dem political yard signs for target practice. Still, there's a huge influx of liberals from CA and other beleaguered places. One can only hope that the misery they left in LosAngeles will convince them to vote conservative from now on.

No a liberal democrat won the Boise mayors race. It was because the Republican was thought of a a RINO.
There is quite a scandal still going on there.

Doesnt' have to be fraud to nullify the election. WSC is pretty clear on this, it only takes illegal votes in excess of the margin. This was done in Spokane a few years back, some judge IIRC.
Also, Judge Bridges has state he doesn't have the power to order a new election. However, she could simply be removed, and the office filled by the Lt. Gov. until the Nov. Election.
There has been some speculation that he might even instate Rossi, even though this is not what they are asking for.The Fraud charge is pretty solid however. I don't think intent is difficult to show in this case.

Got that right, and see how it works. They got stuffed trying to pull this crap in Florida 2000, so they turn up the propaganda machine to squeal about Bush Stole Florida. Psychologically, it works on a large minority of Americans. Than when they pull it off in 2004, they've can defend their ill gained position by squealing some more.
If they lose this, they lose credibility for a number of elections going back to Kennedy Nixon.
BTW, they pulled the exact same "hand count" fraud to beat Sen. Slade Gorden in 2002, Sen.Cantwell is as much a fraud as Chrissy.
The buck either stops here, or they will run rampant nationally.
