Eric Segal wrote Love Story. I am more than a little embarrassed that I know this fact.
I was just joking....but if you know who wrote Jonathan Livingston Seagull then you are in real trouble.

uh-oh
The owners of the station have the right to do whatever they want with it; its their station. If they feel taking this show off the air is in their best interest they have every right to. I won't agree with that decision, but I certainly won't try to tell them what they can and cannot program.
It is still my opinion he should remain on air. I've heard more outcry over this from people OUT of his listening area. Do you think people who live out of his particular listening area have the right to demand he be taken off the air? Why should someone who lives outside of his listening area have an influence over what I listen to? It would be like me demanding some radio show in Tennessee be taken off the air. I don't hear it; I'm not the audience. I don't have any place to tell the people of Tennessee what they can and cannot listen to.
Disgusting.
Or it can further harden hearts. I think most people are cowed by this kind of thing. At least enough to keep their disgust to themselves. This jerk shouldn't be on the radio, period.
