"I didn't watch the interview, but edited for print, Dean's comments on Limbaugh's hypocrisy were right on target." ~ cloud8

You need to get up to speed. See http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1408548/posts?page=55#55

And see the thread I just posted entitled: Rush: "Howard Dean admitted to being a binge drinker in his earlier days"

Hey! You! Get offa my cloud!

Basically people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones, and if Howard Dean points that out I have no problem with it.

I will do my best to stay away from your version/understanding of 'the program'.

"entertainer" or not, one of the first things I disliked about limbaugh was his shilling to his audience - whether through the mocking/belittling of people, conversing with an off-mic call screener, or general braggadocio; among other things. It got to be past the point where it was worth it to listen to everything in the hour I had for lunch to separate-out the dross from the worthwhile bits which I can get from better sources - without "opinion", parody, insolence. His written commentary is ofttimes better than the 'show', and easier to filter.

I have, since, found more profitable use for my lunchtime listening; though I try to listen once a month or so to see if he hasn't changed his act. I have yet to be disappointed.

I do not try to dissuade individuals from listening to him - those who get similarly tired move on as I have done. The rest are free to spend their time and energies as they will, it's their business.
