<< The key issue here is a "US" multinational has gone extra-national and they now tend to NOT hire US management thus the culture will shift to a global nonlegal pablum of non-offensive positions. They clearly just don't see American Beating as offensive anymore! Pepsico is not alone in this take a look at all of the Fortune 500 and note the trend over the last 20 years. >>
I have lived abroad, mostly in Africa and Asia for much of the past almost 45 years and during that time have watched the erosion of any requirement for even a nominally patriotic attitude and mindset among "representatives" of America [Foreign-er Service-ing] and/or of American companies -- and especially among our [Universally -- as is the case with those who represent Foggy Bottom's bastard offspring of the Communist Party of America-descended brahmanas -- Peter-Principle-operated] corporations.
And if you are in Hong Kong I have no doubt we share disdain toward and disgust at the hostility to and hatred of America expressed in the words and attitudes of the mish-mash of mealy-mouthed Asian, Australasian and Euro-peon foreigners who deliver the endless steam of America-bashing propaganda and mis-and-dis-information spewed out around the clock by the "American" news media.
As often as not if I bother with tv news at all I find the standard America-loathing of the BBC's loony leftist's refreshing and honest by comparison with the obscene bile projectile vomited for its client states by CNN's hate mongers.
There is a link to the entire speech on the pepsi home page. There is also her apology there.
No. They are morons. I expect morons to say moronic things. It would be like getting upset about a infant messing his diaper. Come to think of it, both have a lot in common.
Thank you. That will make it easier for me.
lol. Allright, allright, I submit! That is way crossing the line. Besides, Publix has been doing those deals on Coca-Cola too often for me to buy pepsi products. (4 12-packs for $10 plus an additional 3 2-Liters for freewith coupon)
We used to get Quaker Oats too, my wife gets organic oats from a Mennonite bulk store. It's cheaper and I don't notice a difference.
