Actually, the Okinawan police estimated the crowd at 10,000, not 24,000. That's probably an accurate figure.

Where were the peace lovers in 1941????

They were busy sharpening their swords to cut yankee throats.It is very tempting to let the Chinese have them. They know how to deal with such people.
