If you think there is a vast left-wing conspiracy, you are bound to find it. Its just that when you are looking for aliens/black helicopters/etc, they become apparent everywhere! Not that that means that they exist. Its a movie! If Lucas wanted to, he has enough money to make 100 Fahrenheit 9/11 sequels. Why would he screw with Star Wars?

What the hey. Star Wars is just like the Harry Potter films to me. They are all boring beyond words.

Not worth my money, not because of anything political, but because the prequels are substandard fare.

I don't think I've ever seen more than a few minutes of ANY Star Wars movie. While I enjoy movies (I've got nearly 100 of them on my netflix queue), this stuff has never been my "bag." I guess it will continue to be that way.

ahh well who cares, its a FANTASY!! So, can I mark you in the pro-brainwashing column? (Would it have been OK if Hitler had dressed his anti-Jewish propoganda in "FANTASY"?)
I had really wanted to take the family to see "Kingdom of Heaven", but I refuse to pay one red cent to see any movie that is at all tainted with liberal political propoganda.
That said, none of the quotes thus far attributed to this new episode of Star Wars strike me as being particularly problematic - so at this point I'm still planning to see it, although I will research this a bit more before making a final decision.

It could just as easily be an anti-Christian dig. Jesus said, "He who is not for me is against me, and he who does not gather with me, scatters."
But seriously, folks, who cares what George Lucas thinks?

I always thought it odd that Queen Amidala was elected. Then the line in Attack of the Clones where she was releived that her time as Queen was limited to two terms and then she became a senator kind of reminded me of someone.

'If you're not with me, you're my enemy'
'Only a Sith Lord deals in absolutes'
So in another words if someone wants to lock up a child killer, and someone wants him to run amok so he can kill some more like liberals often do, the guy who wants to lock him up is a Sith Lord.

Did he wizz in your cornflakes this morning? Will it leave a subtle distate in your mouth as you see Staw Wars Part 6/Part3Redux?

Lots of people. Episodes IV-VI were brilliant. People have been waiting over 20 years for something of that caliber. The early reviews say that Episode III is the good. I will decide for myself.

Obviously she retained royalty. Her daughter becomes Princess Lea. Odd that her son becomes a fatherless farm boy.
