This crap is really issing me off. I sick to death of the muslims getting their panties in a bunch over everything that comes down the pike.
Since when is the koran so sacred in this country and around the world? Our politicians need to stand up to these people and say, so what. They chop peoples heads off and the world is mum. A rumor swirls and they(muslims) are ready to....ggrrrrrrr
I'm fed up with acquiescing to all their shouts for justice. Justice...they wouldn't know justice if it jumped up and bit them in their collective arses.

"If you read the Al Qaeda training manual, they are trained to make allegations against the infidels," he said.
Foolish liberal news rag, plays right into the enemy's hands!

Unfortunately, activist judges have twisted the First Amendment to place the news media virtually beyond the reach of any civil or criminal law.

The report was denounced initially by the US chargé daffaires in Kabul and then by the Pentagon and the State Department. As unrest gathered pace, Dr Rice issued an appeal: I want to speak directly to Muslims in America and throughout the world. Disrespect for the Holy Koran is not now, nor has it ever been, nor will it ever be, tolerated by the United States. Disrespect for the Holy Koran is abhorrent to us all." This situation is being handled very badly, by Secretary Rice and others. If a gay "activist" wiped his bum on pages from a Bible here in San Francisco, he would be applauded as a visionary, funded by the NEA, and ignored by Secretary Rice.
By saying what she said above, she is putting the Koran above any other document or symbol in our country, including the American flag. This is what many Muslims expect and demand, and they must be explicitly denied. She should say something like "Military personnel are ordered not to disrespect the Koran. If we find that some military personnel have disobeyed orders, then we will handle this appropriately." Period. The end.
"Disrespect for the Holy Koran" is not abhorrent to me, personally. I don't give a rat's what anyone does to that book. To feel this way is one of my rights as an American. Secretary Rice needs to stuff a sock in it.

...I wonder if Newsweek is proud of themselves now... They are deeply proud of it. It's a feather in their cap. This will be talked about admiringly in journalism schools for years.

I'm feed up with leftist in this country trying to destroy us from within. It's past time to take them to task. This traitorous, seditious behavior has to be dealt with now.

As Washington scrambled to calm the outrage, Condoleezza Rice, the US Secretary of State, promised an inquiry and punishment for any proven offenders I wonder what the government is doing to punish those that defile the Bible. Fair is fair, right?

It has everything to do with political correctness, the social poison that has all but destroyed Europe, and has seriously afflicted North America.

I hope my tagline of the last few months has been noted by more than a few here.
This whole Newsweak/Riot/murder episode is a perfect example of what I'm illustrating.

No.....this has to do with an out of control media.....out to get an American President.....and they just killed 15 people....trying to do just that.
Newsweek has the blood of 15 people on its hands.
They should be made to name their government source....

This is about Newsweek twisting a story and printing an inaccurate report to stir up trouble over there
They knew it and they are at least partially responsible for the riots and deaths that are occuring over there

Dear Ms. Rice,
PUNISHED FOR WHAT?!?!?!?! There was NO crime even if it happened. Exactly.
Legally, flushing a copy of the Koran down the toilet should fall into the same category as burning an American flag: If you own it, it's yours to dispose of. (And morally, it's the flag-burning that deserves condemnation!)

Why can't we just toss the reporter from Newsweek to the Muslims in Pakistan? It really wouldn't be a loss for us and it would pacify the son's of Satan. As far as I'm concerned, they can behead him. IF that sounds bad, tough. They didn't think about the safety of our soldiers serving in Muslim countries before they ran the story.

It's folks like you that wouldn't mind us going to war against the whole Muslim world, as long as it's to Israel's benefit. It's folks like you that object to standing up for America's interests, as long as it benefits Israel as well.
