"At 9:03 on the morning of April 19, 1995, a Ryder truck blew up in front of the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City. On that spring day 168 people diedmany of them small children. This classic Islamic attack was quickly blamed on two 'home-grown' terrorists. This case is in the process of being re-examined due to overwhelming evidence that al Qaeda and possibly Saddam Hussain were involved."
Other than the above portion of the article, I agree with everything else Barbara Stock writes here. Not quite sure where the real evidence is that al-Queda or Hussein really had anything to do with the Oklahoma City bombing. The article would be better without having included this as it still strikes me as the stuff of the tin foil hat brigades.
With that said, I think the article is great. She echo's pretty much exactly what I think. The war we are fighting is against Islam, not against some rogue leader or terrorist organization in this or that place. We need a comprehensive strategy to include dealing with Muslims here at home and the Islamic threat abroad. Until we understand and accept the nature of the war being waged against us, we will continue losing ground. I fear it is going to take something far more horrible than 9-11 to wake up the American people to menace which means to destroy us.

There is a difference, and it's a huge one.
By its very nature, 'slam is antithetical to the principles upon which this nation was founded.
And it will always be.
It's just an unfortunate fact we've got to deal with.
And I start here: "Nobody ever came to regret or ruin by not trusting Muslims."
That's my starting credo, and I'll live by it. Many poor souls paid very dearly for not observing this fundamental truth - they paid with their lives.
To hell with this insane cult of death!
Not quite.
85% of "palestinians" endorse violence as a political tool.
All muslim countries in the area would yield similar results in a neutrally presented poll.
Sure, the are some innocents, as in every war. However, had we obsessed with that reality in the last hundred years, and yielded to the weakness of some, today we would be speaking Japanese, or German or Russian, or Chinese...
I prefer English, thankyouverymuch.
Suggesting that 85% of Americans agree with Jerry Faldwell is so absurd as to question the mental health of whomever suggests it.
Crystal meth in not our friend...
In an openly declared war, ongoing for years, there are no civilian targets.
We have never declared a war on anyone on religious grounds.
The islamic animals do not fail for a single day to define their murderous, primitive and mindless mass murder worldwide in religious terms. Their mosques preach it daily, their press screams it hysterically.
Are you mentally challenged? or simply an enemy plant?
At one end dwells childhood, at the other senility.
But we must also not dismiss apologists, overt and otherwise.
The most famous jurists in our history, Constitutional scholars and most normal reasonably intelligent civilians have all agreed, always, that the Constitution may not be used as a suicide pact.
Please, let's not go there.
We have our hands full with muslims.
Let's not get hijacked into beating a dead horse/historical curiosity.

The concept is a no-brainer.
I have developed a litmus test to make the distinction:
If I find out that they are muslims before I discover that they are Americans, they have committed a fraud.
The ones I have known, worked with, discussed among and played with, often for years, before discovering that they are muslim, are as American as you and I. I am proud to know that they would fight beside me against the 7th century animals-on-two-legs from whatever continent they come from.
Excellent analytical methodology, Publius!
My hat's off to you. Very well done.
How in the hell did we allow them in this country?
Oh, man you really know what you're talking about and I salute you. Now send this message to Congress, President and Supreme Court.
Well, I don't know what the solution is for the 6 million Muslims here in the United States, but if someone could tell me in what possible way Islam is compatible with traditional American values and founding principles, I'm all ears.

Now you're talkin! I agree totally, but it won't happen for awhile. Although I believe that eventually, there will be a kind of "war" here on this subject. There is NOTHING within the theology (if you could call it that) of Islam, which is compatible with Americanism or being an American - absolutely NOTHING! So, what are they doing here? What is their goal? Hint: It's not a trick question.

They should be treated the same way we used to treat Communists - of suspicious allegiance until proved otherwise. Hopefully, they may someday assimilate (unlikely, though). Certainly, we shouldn't let any more into our country.
Furthermore, Jayna Davis is a specialist on the Middle-East connection and has been on several talk shows discussing the Middle-East connection, expecially John Doe #2.

Even if there is no direct link to OBL, there are strong indications that there is a Middle-East connection followed by a cover up by the government fearing a backlash by American Muslims. In addition, our government knew it was impotent in dealing with it and I would bet my bottom dollar that OBL was in on it.
Well my point is, you can't run them up the flagpole if they don't actually rob, cheat and kill. They have constitutional right just as we do. Due process of law. To run them up the flagpole just because they say their a Muslim is seriously wrong.
We both know that.
