On the serious side... back when Jack Nicklaus was very young around 1960 and playing against Arnold, Jack was starting to win everything. But, even when Jack got married and began having kids, if you look back Jack had a couple of years there where he had a "little lull" so to speak after his marriage. But, of course, he made an excellent comeback and went on to do so many great things!

This thread was begun to speak graciously of Tiger Woods' excellent accomplishment over the years.
This poster (pp) has tried to create some kind of delusion here of "chess as a sport".
No one, I mean NO ONE on this thread wishes to worry about his ongoing and relentless obsession that "chess is a sport".
Could you please ask him to blow off his need to tell all the world here at FR that chess is a physical experience and a sport. No one wants to hear it, and if they did, this would not be the thread to hear it.
Let pp begin his own thread where he can try to convince FReepers that chess is a sport. If chess is a sport....... Hillary is a true conservative. ;-)

well my dad won't shut up about the DiMaggio streak and I was at games 2130 and 2131 for Ripken :)
Tiger might just do it too....we will see....
