Yep, the leftist media is just aghast that the President was gifted with a shotgun last year!
BUSH GETS $14,000 SHOTGUN AS GIFT
By Tabassum Zakaria
Fri May 13, 6:49 PM ET
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A $14,153 (7,652 pound) shotgun with accessories, a $2,700 bike and thousands of dollars worth of fishing gear topped the list of gifts received by President George W. Bush last year.
While the president's gift list had a distinctly outdoorsy theme, Vice President Dick Cheney received more artsy presents such as paintings and a statue, according to annual financial disclosure documents released on Friday.
Cheney gave Bush a $595 desk clock for Christmas that is currently telling time in the Oval Office. Bush gave the vice president a $425 floor globe.

Maybe Ehrlich. Steele gets an SUV and 2 cop cars.
I was at the exchange at Bethesda Naval today and the women behind me in line was just all a tither because she was having lunch with Ehrlich today. She was asking the whole store what we thought of the outfit she picked out.
She was so nervous and so cute. Worried about the pink blazer she picked out. Didn't want to look to flashy! Gotta love her! Hope she had a good time today.

I absolutely love my cable connection, it's actually faster than a T-1 Connection. Late at night, it's twice as fast as the results I got during peak use ealier. I'll check it now and see what it is

I met Ehrlich at the Howard County Fair Grounds when he was running for the State Legislature , It was probably back in 1993. He was campaigning at the Silverado Gun Show. Me and a friend of mine talked with him for at least an hour. We grilled him on just how Conservative he was. Ehrlich has no time for Liberals, needless to say, he passed the test with flying colors

You can best believe that we will not have to worry about George and Laura stealing White House furniture and gifts when they retire to Prairie Chapel Ranch in Crawford, TX in 2009

I'm more impressed with Steele than Ehrlich. I've had a couple chances over the years at Repub events to grill them both over current events. Bob is a conservative but Mike is the one who has a clue.
I can't wait to campaign for Steele. What ever he goes for, I'm there.

Could Bob get reelected without him? I don't think so. I'm not sure he would leave Ehrlich without his blessing.
Right now I would rather see him helping us keep the Governorship Repub and getting this state semi-straightened out.

I was listening to the Hugh Hewitt show yesterday or the day before when he had Sen.Kyle on. Hewitt asked him if the Republicans had the votes and Kyle gave a firm "yes"answer.

BTW, Since we are speaking about Maryland politicians..... I would suggest that President Bush announce in advance that if the Democrats manage to defeat his Nomination of Bolton to the U.N., his second choice will be Alan Keyes :-)
Do you think the RATS would have a fit about that or what. Alan Keyes would lay waste to any Democrat in the Senate in a fair debate. Alan Keyes would not put up with their crap for a single minute. He would turn that Confirmation Hearing into a prime time event as he countered their personal attacks on him

From what I understand, once the nominee is out of Committee, a Sednator cannot place a hold on the Floor vote, The Majority leader has complete control of the Floor
This is what I thought! More Democratic smoke screen?!
