"Never said they were. I said that Nethercott recently announced that he and his cronies would use machine guns against illegals. Thankfully he is in jail."
Can you point to the exact quote? I hadn't heard about it.
I'm not sure that just saying something like that can get someone to jail, btw. I'm also not convinced that someone who says things like that should be imprisoned, since no actual crime has been committed. What a slippery slope!
It wouldn't surprise me if this was already going on...the resentment is growing and growing.
Sends another message to illegal invaders and otm terrorists..
The courts trump everything in America...
America is a puta...and lays down easily for anyone and anybody anytime..
come on in and take her...she's easy and not only free she pays bonuses to those who use and abuse her...
Yet we sacrifice our own children to free Iraq and are fighting to protect her borders...
imo
First opf all, no one is condoning such activities and I believe Nethercott himself would not resort to such tatics despite his bravado. That's probably all it is...and that is not a crime unless a direct threat is made against specific people and it can be shown he planned to carry out the threat. Foolish to say such thing? Perhaps...but not illegal. p> Beyond that, your comparison to Nazi Germany doesn't hold water. Hitler gassed people by the millions who were legal citizens of his own country and people whom he had imprisoned from other copuntries he had conquered in a brutal fashion. Nothing remotely similar is happening here or is sought. To the contrary, it is we that are being invaded by illegal aliens coming into this nation in violation of our own laws. It is perfectly letgal to make a citizen's arrest against someone who is committing a crime and then hold them for police. You just have to be sure it is a crime and that you do not harm or injure them unwarranted in the process.
But apparently now, Judges are willing to hand out rediculous settlements for something that common sense tells you was a non-issue, except that two illegals...criminals by any other definition...were stoiped from entering this country.
As to the alleged injuries to the one alien, I have never seen any report or pictures of the injuries the illegal sustained...in fact, a jury apparently wouldn't convict.
I'd like to know the details of the weapons charges. We found at Ruby Ridge and at Waco how those type charges can be trumped up to the point of getting people imprisoned and killed by our own agencies
Here you go:
Foote and Conner were not charged in the case, but Jim Hogg County prosecutors initially charged Nethercott with assault, unlawful detention and possession of an illegal weapon.
The assault and unlawful detention charges [against Nethercott] were dropped after a trial resulted in a hung jury, according to Nethercott's attorney Joseph Jacobson.
The weapons charge stuck, though, and Nethercott began serving a five-year sentence April 18 in a Texas prison.
Foote also is in prison, but in Arizona, on an unrelated weapons conviction.
That was my first thought Jeff.
If it can be proved that the defendant did not receive proper notice or was incapable of answering, there is a chance (a small one) that this decision can be overturned.
Winning a judgment is not the same as actually getting the money. Personally, if I were the land owners, I would have counter-sued for emotional distress and other damages in an amount to twice what they claimants requested.
They invade our nation and tresspass on private property, and the security people have to forfeit their entire lives to them??? this is disgusting beyond comprehension!
And the way they are getting "a better life" is to suck American taxpayers dry. Al Capone was ten times a better person than any of our elected people who are aiding illegal immigration.
come on in and take her...she's easy and not only free she pays bonuses to those who use and abuse her...
Yet we sacrifice our own children to free Iraq and are fighting to protect her borders...
This bears repeating. Why are we sacrificing our finest young men and women overseas, only to have them return to a country that is no longer the "good old U.S.A." ??
The WOT is primarily for our national security, yet we have less of a nation every day.
They could avoid being "mass-murdered" by staying out of America!
"What do American troops in South Korea do when the border that they are manning at our expense is breached by parties from the North?"
===========================
Is it not the epitome of hypocrisy that our government will send tens of thousands of Americans to die a fierce death to protect a border for a country that hates our guts and won't even fund enough money and resources to defend our own border from an invasion every bit as damaging to the survival of America as a nation as South Korea's demise if North Korea attacked it militarily?
According to court documents, Leiva Medina and Mancia Gonzalez crossed the border and paid a truck driver $200 to give them a ride. The driver dropped them off before reaching a Border Patrol checkpoint, and they began walking through a field in the dark.
-AT this point we see that illegal begin there move to violate the law.
After crossing a fence onto the Sutton ranch, the immigrants heard people coming and hid in brush. They were found by dogs and detained by three men, later identified by the immigrants as Nethercott, Jack Foote and Henry Mark Conner.
-AT this point, we see that illegals have crossed the border and violated law. And folks who are helping land owners protect their land....detain the criminals.
So criminals who crossed into our country, VIOLATING THE LAW, are now allowed to stay in the US legally. AND try and make money as their scheister lawyers try to take land from citizens trying to protect themselves from invasion.
This stuff has to end.
