Hillary, ex-Goldwater girl, then anti-war activist and Black Power supporter..... would be pretending to go full circle. LOL.

Hillary is an ambitious, evil, oppportunistic, amoral, decious, highly intellignet individual.
Some people would term her a "sociopath", and that is my personal opinion of her and her husband.

There has been a lot of comment on Hillary's feint to the right, her effort to pretend to be a conservative, the way her husband did when he was a member of the DLC before he ran for President. Perhaps Nichols was not saying that she would formally run as a member of the Republican party, but just that she would try to out-flank the Republicans on the right, on immigration, the war on terror, homeland security, while moving to the center on social policies.
Of course, we all know that would be a phony move on her part, and that she would be even more liberal than her husband once elected, but she might be able to fool enough of the people to have a chance of winning. She only has to get a few more votes in a few more places than Kerry, after all, and he was an imbecile.
In other words, I'd want to see a transcript of what Nichols said before I went after him. If he did say that Hillary would join the GOP, then he is an idiot.

exactly...she will try to run as a quasi republican...the abortion and gay rights issues are really the only ones she can't lie about and get away with it (with her base)...they'll swallow anything else.
McCain v Hillary (which is what I believe is going to happen) is going to be one weird campaign if it occurs...what will the media do?
To: beyond the sea
If Hillary became a Republican (I mean for real)She would win the presidency hands down. But, would Newt have to run as a Democrat?

I heard Larry Nichols on the Michael Reagan show and he assured me that there was some devastating news about a land deal in Arkansas that would force Bill Clinton to resign before the 1996 election.

Folks, these are the Clintons we are talking about. You have to parse the words. She will run as a Republican on the Democrat ticket.
