I was trying to pretend that it was just silly speculation, but now I'm getting the feeling that he might really subject us to it.
Who, oh who, will save us from the coming Guiliani, Hillary, Pataki, Newt, Kerry, smorgasbord of non-choices?

Gingrich is smart, and articulate. But he will never be president.
I like the guy where he is, as a talking head, a writer, a thinker, and gadfly. I would not vote for him. I watched as after a tremendous start he eventually bowed and sought to make common cause with Clinton, and was a weak sister when we most needed him. I always assumed the Clinton's had found out what the rest of us later found out about his personal life, and this affected his job.
His personal history will be thrown endlessly in his face, and in ours, unless he sells out to the Democrats. He is unelectable as president.
It's tough to figure out which one of them is more craven in using the other in an attempt to look like they can work with the "other side".
