On a serious note, as a reformed liberal myself, this kind of thing is quite commonplace.

Been there, done that myself. I had the same visceral hatred for "Raygun" as well. These thoughts make those people feel "superior" in some ways, thats sure how I felt. A pseudointellectual moron with a genius IQ, but with little Wisdom.. that was me.. You surround yourself with like minded people (DUmmies?) and this is what happens. I am so glad for those conservative JEWISH (so much for those evil fundy christians) friends of mine who helped me see the light..

There will be a revolt. A peasant's revolt. ..it's historically inevitable."

And, as usual, the brains/builders will be "done away with" and the LCD goes even lower....(Maybe down to DU level?) LOL,,,,,

How about we offer all DU members a spot in a minimum security reeducation camp? The ones where Wednesday night religious services are optional?

"In the News/Activism forum, on a thread titled Racked with fear, Far Left believes U.S. "going mad" as civilization spins apart..."

It's obvious the "Far Left" is racked with insanity, immaturity and inanity - the effect of which is their fear -acute paranoia.

The neurotic Left suffers collective anxiety and expresses hysteria because *reality* doesn't conform to their perverse expectations. "Fundy neocoms" and "theocracy" !!!

Clearly, the stark evidence of the foregoing Left's posts confirm that the irrational Left conjures-up their own Kafkaesque syndrome of delusion, despair, and doom - they wallow in it.

"Pagans"? - SOooo Cult-Chic.

These DU types must live on another planet. Half the Escalades and Hummers around here had Kerry stickers on them during the last election.

The hallmark characteristics of the left are hypocrisy and hysteria.

How many rich liberals put their kids in public schools?
How many carpool to work? How many have sons or daughters in the service? How many have a clue?

Doomsday is always around the corner to someone. At the turn of the century, of the 19th century, during ancient eclipses, after the tsunami in Asia, anytime anywhere. These people are just frustrated idiots that think that other people hold their ideas.

They need to get out and see this country that they "love" and get some fresh air, some sound like they really need it.

*Man, they need a mental enema!

"Also, as I mentioned, me being an empathetic person whenever I saw Kerry whether on a rally on CSPAN or a debate or campaign photo etc. I felt this WONDERFUL positive energy. He has this wonderful green aura about him."

Radioactive Botox, perhaps????

yep...

I live near a big leftist stronghold here in NC and I can tell you the leftists are losing it.

The echo-chamber/fantasy world that they reside in has them convinced that the sky is falling.

I've known this one ultra liberal family for 30 years or more. Mental illness big time, 2 brothers with bi-polar, mom was bi-polar, third brother is questionable, one of the two sisters is pretty screwed up also. Sadly 1/2 the kids of the next generation already show symptoms. I'm convinced that when people are this far left it really is mental illness, I've never met a lib, whom I got to know, that wasn't a mess upstairs. And it's not prozac thats needed to treat it, try Lithium or the modern equivalent.

You're right -- we're quickly boiling over, and I pray that something can stop it before it's too late.

For some reason, this logic cracked me up, i.e. People who pray have completely ruined this country, but I'm going to pray that something can stop it......

It reminded me of the Star Trek episode "I, Mudd" where Harry Mudd created an army of androids. To disable the controlling android, Norman, the landing party (including Spock), engaged in a series of illogical (and moronic) actions in order to confuse and overload the androids. This culminates in the immobilization of Norman himself when Harry tells him "everything I say is a lie."

It seems like the libs are in an illogical, moronic closed loop and their brains will soon be smoking. Either that or it's global warming......

This is just the a radical discovering that they are an UNWANTED radical of one.

Their world is collapsing because finally they are forced to admit they were NEVER the majority.

It seems like the libs are in an illogical, moronic closed loop and their brains will soon be smoking.

But they have a fail safe for the situation when they are caught in a logical paradox. They call you a Nazi and feel smugly satisfied that they've shown you.

When I talk to my main liberal friend about the way the world is headed, he has a real fear of a theocracy and people telling him who can and can't sleep with whom. On the other hand, after I've had a few beers and start ranting about the country going to hell in a hand basket, I talk about thing like being chained to the oars of the ship of government with Commissar Hillary on deck deciding who lives and who dies in her health care plan based on who's donated enough money to the DNC and who has crossed her personally.

The main point is that I think we are both libertarians at heart, but have vastly different opinions about who is the greatest threat to liberty.

oh man...so many idiots, so little time. A couple of points.

One, if civilization is indeed unraveling, the DUmmies have no one to blame but themselves. Modern liberalism, with its rejection of morality, responsibility, and its eagerness to capitulate to radical Islam will be the undoing of western civilization.

Two, auras??? Seeing so many folks take the notion of an aura seriously provided me with many laughs.

Three, the overall depression they feel because things aren't going their way politically. Let me ask you this, fellow FReepers: we all had to suffer under Clinton for 8 yrs, there were many periods of time where liberals had more political power than conservatives did. While this upset us, did we all get into this melancholy funk like the DUmmies? Or did we go on with our lives and continue to be functioning members of society?

Ahother big problem for their long term survival as a group is the fact that many of their children are aborted.
