He's part of the Four Horsemen of the BSocalpyse with Joseph Farah, Mansoor Ijaz, and DEBKA; all specialize in very exciting-sounding, usually scary, unique stories that have no basis in fact.
He's always been a rabid Dem--and a kook. I think an earlier poster is right--early on he may have had some decent contacts in the government but for some time he's been all on his kooky own.
A Lefty trying to act like he's on the Right. Tin foil.
A week and a half ago, he swore up and down that North Korea would test "within 48 to 72 hours"
That and many other statements is the extent of his credibility.
Art Bell and Richard Hoagland?
John Batchelor and John Loftus.
Good post. Loftus' contacts are very faded. He had some interesting ideas about a year ago and now has faded into largely expanded speculation.
I wondered about him, too, after seeing him on FOX today practically insisting that the pilot who violated DC airspace just had to be a "spoiled rich kid." Nobody was reporting who was on the plane but Loftus was so insistent that I made a note to look him up re: his credibility. I had seen his name in posts on FR before but I think he may have slipped a gear somewhere. He made absolutely no sense on FOX today.
