I am wise. I left the republocrat party a while back. What I was stating was what the republocrats need to do. Not neccessarily what I agree with, which many times more and more lately is not the republocrats. Certainly never a demoncrat.

politics, he won't pass the physical needed to enter...The whole reason they don't run Dick Cheney is because of his heart - well, McCain's worse off than Cheney, and I'd take my chances on a pacemaker guy anyday who's honest and a strong conservative, than that backstabbing, egomaniac republican version of Bill Clinton!

The question posed isn't whethero r not you (or anyone) doesn't have a disagreement with McCain on any given issue. The question is, if it was McCain vs Hilly, ACU 80 vs ACU 9, who would get your vote.
Of course I would vote for the 80 rather than the 9. But my point is that I'm not satisfied with the 80 score. I want someone who scores 96 to run against the incumbent 80 in the primary election. My goal is continuous improvement, not sticking with the status quo because I have to settle for it. Bring on a real Barry Goldwater Conservative to run against the lukewarm Conservative we have now. Challenge the 80 Conservative on his voting record and show where he voted with the Liberals, not just on Second Amendment issues, but on everything.

"I am not saying McCain is the best candidate, I am saying there are many situations when he would be the preferred candidate." I am saying there is no situation where McCrisis is the GOP candidate, regardless of his ACU rating is 80 or 8000.
Mike Murphy is the hand inside the McSockpuppet. He blew it in '00 (see post 51), and he'll never get the damaged goods off the carrier in '08.
