Taking a page from the Democrat election playbook.

Sharpton has never paid a diime of his penalty. That's kind of a cheap shot, isn't it? Sharpton is a reverand. Worldly possessions probably mean nothing to him.

It would be fitting if his conviction removed him from Ph.D. candidacy.
It would also be especially fitting if Mr. Cottrell ended up making license plates.

What is a cheap shot?. You should mark this as sarcasm, if thats what it is. Worldly possessions mean nothing to Sharpton LOL. Sharpton dresses in $1,000 dollar suits and claims the Church owns them so he doesnt have to pay up, Give me a break

I agree Charlite, he should have done the three dimes. Or better yet, faced execution for his crimes!

"Sharpton has never paid a diime of his penalty."
Not sure about any penalty to the court, but I do think the Rev. Al rounded up some folks to pay the judgement on the Pagones case (Tawanna Brawley case) a while ago. Before he ran for senate, or whateer.
Hey, it still makes Sharpton look bad, but at least the victim is whole, as they say.

Terrorism is NEVER okay. Eco terrorists do not really care about the environment. If they really did, they would not destroy things. They have a totally different agenda than air, water, trees etc.

Wishing him many well-deserved years of spinctal abuse.

How do these individuals travel? Plane? Vehicle?, or do they just ride a bike everywhere?
Do they have computers, refrigerators, just about any plastic object, which BTW is made from petrol byproducts. What about rubber. Even if they rode bikes, it must have tires. What about their home. What is it constructed out of? Do you see the hypocrisy?
In the very least, their criminal actions are misguided. They are self-righteous hypocrites that have replaced honoring the Creator with honoring the created; their own brand of fanatical pseudo-religion.
There are ways in which to pursue environmental preservation without breaking the law. It is quite arrogant to show total disregard for peoples livelihood by destroying the things which help to provide for families.
But than again, they value rocks more than human life.

This can't be emphasized enough. Thanks so much for pointing it out in such crisp terms!

It really is outrageous the way these anarchists (which is all they are) can run around creating mayhem for upstanding, legitimate businesses and not have heavier penalties. The guy who owned that Hummer dealership was just an ordinary American doing regular 9 to 5 business. Sometimes I'm of the opinion that many of these ultra far left liberal nut jobs are loaded with pure envy and jealousy at the successes of others.
Note that this man has a PhD, if you please! Comfy tenured professor who has never had to meet a payroll, never had to hassle with all of the pressurizing demands of running a business. From this act of vandalism, I'd say that he has a mentality of your average angry 13 year old. When things get your goat, just grab a can of spray paint and act like it's Hallowe'en whenever you feel like letting off steam.
