If this gets on the ballot the next year in California is going to be a very interesting one. The open border apologists will be having heart attacks.
Lockyer loves the illegals almost as much as BUSH!
There's a joke for Leno tonight...
Who cares what he thinks. He's not an American, and I can make a decent case he's not a citizen. The Democrats put him where he is to "make a statement" and "reach out" as they always do.
He has no right to make laws for Americans.
The AG reviews all initiatives and is responsible for writing the Title and Summary.
I believe the worst he can do is write an unfavorable summary.
He does not have the authority to bury it.
LOL. I love that quote!
Did you read the article at #7? What's your take on Carona? Didn't some of the corruption in the Sheriff's dept fall his way.
>>He's not an American
Well, I disagree. Unfortunately, he is an American.
If you'd called him an anti-American American, a communist, or socialist, I wouldn't disagree.
Really, all you have to do is go to all the grocery store parking lots and round them up!
As long as you accept your enemies as your countrymen, these things will continue.
There has never been an adjudication of the status of children of illegal aliens. It is not clear to me that Nunez' parents were not illegals. The official accounts are rather vague. "Came to San Diego from Tijuana", blah blah. Those are euphemisms for illegals that the press routinely uses since they think the truth is too harsh to print.
I would challenge you to back up your assertion that he is an American. Just being born here doesn't cut it. The parents have to be legal as well, a position I take since the opposite position has never been validated either by a vote of Congress, a vote of the people, or the outcome of a Federal case.
In the meantime, do you think a guy with such questions about his nationality deserves to be the Speaker of the Assembly of the State of California? The questions we are talking about are usually reserved for a courtroom where some guy is fighting just to stay in the country. Not whether he should be making laws that are enforced by men with guns against people who are Americans.
Thanks for the GOOD NEWS, I didn't know that!
You're right, even though he's full of it and a loudmouth if he was born here the law classifies him as an American, for now. We've got to get the misinterpretation of the 14th Amendment fixed, maybe California or some other state will lead the way on that as well, we can only hope...
Great news!!!
BUMP
No comment?
Nice one, Gub, nice one.
Polls and hype.. and this is what passes for leadership these days.
Protect our borders and coastlines from all foreign invaders!
Be Ever Vigilant!
Minutemen Patriots ~ Bump!
I share most all of your beliefs, as stated. And no, I don't think he should be in the Assembly, let alone leading it.
Here's another one that I think should be disqualified from office. Search halfway down the page for "Jacqueline Goldberg" aka Jackie (and don't miss brother Arthur mentioned right below):

Thirteenth Report of the Senate Fact-Finding Subcommittee on Un-American Activities--California
Who benefits from illegal immigration (other than the obvious Dem voting block)?
Banking (if they have an ID), Housing (government subsidies), Construction (low income housing),
HealthCare (medicare/medicaid)... etc.
You think Arnold would turn against this group? I think not.
Why am I not surprised.
The woman should be tried for treason, stripped of her citizenship, and sent to the Maoist hellhole she's so in love with.
She should hold no position of trust within our country.
Instead of the conservative "Governator" we thought we might get in the recall, we instead wind up with the "Equivocator".
So far all he's really done is to accomplish nothing while trying to please everyone.
