Patsy Schroeder was the biggest embarrassment to ever grace the Senate, IMO.
If Salazar keeps going the way he is....he may be the second biggest embarrassment!
Must be the thin air?

Rosen makes some good points a per usual. However-the Salazar brothers before the election were very vocal and
rebellious about their church in its discipline. John T.
even went so far as to compare their church to Iranian style theocracy. A term I see brother Ken has taken up.
And Ken did write to Focus asking them to repudiate Dr.Mohler for comments I believe were taken out of context
made several years ago. Will Ken repudiate his brothers comments comparing the Church to Iranian style theocracy?Has Ken appologized for claiming Dr.dobson and Focus were
"the Anti-Christ of the World"? this cananot be excused away as claiming he intended to say Focus is not Christian.

"How stupid do you Coloradons have to be to have believed this man? You had your chance to elect Pete Coors and all you got was another lying RAT."
My guess is; After the RNC and the Colorado Republican Party decided that Bob Shaffer was "just too conservative" and pushed Coors as the candidate many conservative Republicans just said "to heck with it and voted Libertarian or American Constitution Party. Actually, it is hard to blame the party since Shaffer had actually honored EVERY one of his campaign promises, including term limiting himself. After all an honest man in Washington might contaminate the professional politicians p>

On second thought I take it back. We here in the Nutmeg state have given everyone the likes of Chris Dodd and Joe Lieberman.. Don't feel too bad. Look at your neighboring states. Kennedy, Kerry, Clinton, and Schumer, Now there is something to really apologise for. In fact the whole Northeast has a sorry lot, of Senators. Must be something in the "lake effects" snow.

Salazar sound like a typical sociopath. They can lie so convincingly.

Patsy Schroeder was the biggest embarrassment to ever grace the Senate, IMO. If Salazar keeps going the way he is....he may be the second biggest embarrassment! Must be the thin air? :-))) Pat Schroeder was only a longtime member of the US House of Reps. Not even a statewide electorate would have ever voted for her in a majority for US Senate. Schroeder was in the safe Colorado district for whichever Denver socialist liberal that happens to be inline for that seat. Her protege, Diana Degette, currently occupies that seat and votes with the far left on every issue.

LOL....I never voted for her so couldn't remember House or Senate.
The important thing is she's gone now.....and thank goodness for that.

I think that seat must be cursed. Gary Hart held it for two terms, then handed it to Tim Wirth, who then handed it to Ben Nighthorse Campbell, who in time became a Republican, until he retired and Salazar won it back for the Dems. (On the other hand, the other senate seat always seems to stay Republican, through Bill Armstrong, Hank Brown, and Wayne Allard)
