BSF, it is satellite 61.5 and depending where you are in the country the azimuth will vary, here in Houston it is around 120 degrees and elevation of around 39 degrees.
Satellite is at 61.5 degrees west, and channel is 9405. If you don't have that dish, that channel and other channels on that satellite won't show up in your onscreen guide. Yep, second dish and install of that dish is free, if the installer charges for either one, the installer and DISH are in violation of the law.
I know. I've own a satellite dish for 20+ years. I can remember when HBO and Showtime were free.
I wonder if sat 148 carries it? Both 148 and 61.5 are international, sometimes depending on conditions there is a charge for 61.5, dish will try to charge you unless you pitch a bitch then they relent. 121 also carrries much that 61.5 does but it requires a superdish and they will charge extra for that, unless you know somebody. I know , I install dish network and I have seen all kind of differant deals out there. Note to everyone if you sign up for three year contract you can get a big price break and call dish direct not some retailer.
121 is mostly for local networks (recieved using the 3 LNB dish they call "SuperDish"), and 148 is basically a mirror of content from 61.5, since 61.5 is low on the horizon if you happen to live in Oregon, Washington, and California, Hawaii or Alaska.
