It is a good strategy for the Dems. Suppose you have one group that generally plays by the rules and another that plays dirty. If group #2 continually raises allegations about group #1, the public thinks "they all do it" and stops paying attention. Then group #2 reaps the advantages of its dirty play while groupe #1 is restricted by the rules.
We see it all of the time with these ethics charges. We also see this techniques used by disingenuous Islamists and immigration activists. Its a variant of the "big lie" which has served unscrupulous politicians from Lenin to Goebbels to Clinton so well over the years.

Yep, seems to me they haven't learned anything from the "Bush was AWOL" nonsense. Bill Burkett must have reached God-status in the Democrat party. Afterall, to ascend into the heights of the party, you have to be a complete loser.
