I have answered this before...

I think the writer screwed that one up. I think he was trying to make an obscure reference to Tillman's NFL career and the title is horribly worded.

It is ESPN, the four letter network, after all....

Yes, Pat Tillman is a hero, the kind of role model this country desperately needs. I cried when he died. I hope a book worthy of him will be written.

And lets not forget the other heroes - Jason Dunham, Neil Roberts, Paul Ray Smith and many others. How tragic that the best are dying.

My post was entirely for Adrian Wojnarowski, the author of this piece. I already know where you're coming from FRiend. Sorry for the confusion, :0).

"Pat Tillman was (and still is) the epitome of American manhood. Most of us hope to raise our sons to be like him, and hope our daughters marry men like him."

Those are two of the best sentences I've seen posted on the subject of Pat Tillman. You done good.....

The DU's live in their ivory walls and don't understand that the terrorists will happily behead them as "infidels" regardless of their political leanings.

If we are not successful at keeping the islamic terror hordes at bay, they will breach those ivory walls, and the liberals' sympathies will not prevent their heads from being separated from their necks.

It's not bravery that takes me there, but the belief that we should know what our ideological enemies are saying; especially when they claim to "support the troops, but not the war". The real truth is in those vile posts, and as a protest warrior, I won't hesitate to use them when I encounter anti-war protestors.

It is vile, though, and I never click out of DU without feeling sick.

I suggest you stop hanging around at DU unless you are really bored and need shooting practice. Those schizoid wackos don't deserve your presence or pings. A bunch of feral cats and 'rats of the same size on various mental drugs.

Thanks for the suggestion. Yes, they are mentally deranged. No, they don't deserve my presence or for that matter, the bounties of this great country. But I had my reason. See my post 47. By the way, feral cats are much nicer than DU'er's and far less dangerous.
