A dime is okay, but a two cent tip as left for a unsatisfactory waiter or waitress,is much better understood.

"Not One Dime" is a catchier slogan though.
Whether one dime, 9 pennies, or nothing the cash cow from the grassroots needs to end here. Big business may still contribute money but the grassroot contributions signify votes. Votes end now until our pathetic cowardly representatives learn how to govern as a majority for OUR side.
Otherwise they can kiss those seats goodbye in '06.

Received an RNC request today to contact the State's Dem Senator. The RNC wants the Dems to know that the people do not want them to shut the Senate down. I replied by email that I would deal with such minutia when the Republicans do something about the illegal aliens.

I know Richard Shelby is a good guy.
What? Shebly is no better than Voinovitch.
Shelby pulled the same crap back in February of '99. Don't you remember? He said that 10 or 15 R senators would vote no on purjury. It was push-poll BS. Then he wound up voting no with only a small number of other R's.
Then last year after Bush thought it was best that information about the Saudi's remained classified, Shelby went on all the Sunday morning shows and criticized the president for doing such.
BTW, Lugar is not the problem.

Bush gave them a Majority, yet they refuse to act as one. And so, I came up with the idea not of refusing the SRCC any money altogether, but of sending them, each and every one of them, ONE thin dime.
And that's all they get, until they support this President as he has supported them through thick and thin. I won't even send them a Dime
Chris, I agree that President Bush and many many republican voters busted their butts to get these Senators in office and to gain a larger majority
And how do these nit wits on the Hill return the favor???
As my tag line states ...
Hey GOP ---- Not one Dime till Republicans grow a Spine !!

BTW, 49 good guys should not be penalized for what a handful of jerk-offs did. That makes no sense. In fact it helps out the 45 D jerk-offs.

I already vented my spleen over this last night. I emailed every GOP Senator, staffer and gov't grifter that popped up on my screen. Not one returned an email. Not one. I now fully understand just how little I mean to them.
Not one thin dime.

See, I actually want to make the ba$tards suffer for screwing the President this way. He busted his balls for these guys, and now their bailing on him. So, make them force their staffers to spend time depositing all the dimes into bags, etc.
When you send them a dime, they start thinking about piss poor turnout numbers in midterms. That's what will scare them. That and no junket money.

Why not run Conservatives in the Primaries. We control most of them in our states. In Mn. Mark Kennedy is running unopposed I think at least we should make them sweat.
To: FreeReign

If you don't penalize the group for what the jerks do, then there's no peer pressure on the jerks. Remember, the Wobblies
want to be liked more than anything else. That's just the way it is. I know it's unfair, but fair is for Girl Scouts. If they're all suffering because of what a few moderates like Warner and Snowe are doing, you can bet that the pressure on Warner and Snowe will be unbelieveable. They'll fold up like a cheap three-card monte table.

Why not run Conservatives in the Primaries. Constructive thinking and constructive ideas don't belong on this thread.
Instead, we're going punish 49 R good guys and we're going to help 45 D bad guys all, so that we can punish 6 R bad guys.
To: section9
Yeah, a token! A "Wuss" token. I'm in.
To: section9
If you don't penalize the group for what the jerks do, then there's no peer pressure on the jerks.Chris my friend. I honestly don't think that peer pressure on the bad R's by the good R's is going to help.
The 5 or 6 bad R's are playing to a different audience.
BTW, what's with Nebraska? Anybody?

Well .. I'm not sending anything at the moment - but my regular dues for the RNC are on hold [which I've already informed them] - if they get Bolton confirmed and the senate rule changed - they will have my financial support.
What I'm hoping is that when they actually do the deeds - the public will overwhelm them with support and finances and the repubs will see that they can get by without the dems.
And .. they'll find out Rush was right when he keeps telling them .. just do the right thing and the politics will follow.

I got a call the other night from an RNC type asking about my contribution. I told her that if she could tell me why the majority party had its tail between its legs on a permanent basis I would send my contribution. If not, I'll wait 'til they decide to represent me.
I look forward with child-like glee for the answer....which I am sure is coming any time now.

It's late & I am tired but, just a thought: Stick one of the
W---STILL PRESIDENT
stickers on a sheet of paper. Underneath write: In support of the "Send One Dime" campaign, please find my dime or nickel or penny.
Proceed with PRESIDENT BUSH'S agenda, or this will be the last you will receive from me.
Thinking along the lines of "on a scale of 1-10" with 1 cent being major puke (aka Voinovich), 5 cents=RINO, 10=gutless but the best we've got.
To: Adrastus
Well .. I've done my part - I've been screaming and yelling at the repub Committee members for 2 days - and now that the Lady from the MOB has been outed by her boss as a liar - I'm hoping something will happen very soon.
