Good point Mo, someone on that committee needs to point out the way the democrat senators have spoken to every single nominee the president has sent up to the hill. To say they have been rude and belligerant is to understate their actions.

The Democrats haven't had a harsh word for the UN which employs people who rape children, steal money and medicine from women and children, and generally mismanages everything it touches. And Bolton would like to see those problems fixed, which seems to vex the Democrats.

This is the part that blows me away

The Democrats said several times they are not interesting in reforming the UN

"The RATS fear what Bolton will uncover at the UN."

I haven't seen that article yet, but the possible use of cloture to deny a confirmation vote on the Senate floor is 100% predictable

It was in the last paragraph of this article

Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid of Nevada has said Democrats were considering filibustering the nomination, which would require a 60-vote majority nearly impossible to attain in the divided chamber

end that rascal Voinovich and his henchman Hegle an e-mail and tell them what you think of them.

They are perfect exemplars of why Senate Republican leadership is ineffective. They and Specter, Snowe, Chaffee, and McCain.
