The old Union of Soviet Socialist Republics invested tens of billions of dollars and millions of lives in their attempt to develop some sort of coherent leftwing policy book.

They abandoned it as worse than useless after 70 years of struggle.

Soros is a fool if he thinks he can do better.

Despite the general recognition that progressives are several years behind conservatives, liberal activists are confident that technology will help them close the gap. “Technology may allow us to do in a few years what it took the other side 40 years,” the DNC source said.

What are they talking about?

Sounds like a typical liberal ploy - American minds "don't work", i.e. they think conservative thoughts, therefore we throw money at the "problem".

Now that the Democrats have assembled a conclave of millionaires and billionaires to try and take over the American political process, can we finally stop hearing that it is the GOP which is the "party of the rich"?

Exactly. I think Soros is basically a con-man who has found his mark.

So Soros is going to use a top-down club of millionaires to create a bottom-up movement of citizens. That should work out wonderfully.

So their current ideas are so played out that they needed a confab of billionaires to come up with more ways to spend the little-peoples' tax money.
