LOL, My NRA, telling it like it is... one of these days I will get to an Annual Convention.

I went to the one in Kansas City a few years back. It was worth it. I only had four hours to spend there and it wasn't nearly enough. They don't sell anything there, but all the companies are there with brochures and pamplets and magazines and key chains and..... You will find stuff you didn't know was out there.

I admired a shotgun for a moment and a company rep stuck it on my shoulder. I gingerly handed it back to him when I found out it cost more than the equity in my house.

I tried to get a picture of the million mom march protesters, but they must have been to lunch when I was there. The KCPD counted the protest crowd at 12. (no joke)

If you have a chance by all means go.

The National Rifle Association may have fond feelings for Houston, but that affection apparently does not extend to the mainstream news media.

Aww heck, why do they limit it to the NRA? I don't belong to the NRA, and yet I have no affection for the MSM. I'm feeling threatened and so alone.

Correction...
Nugent sang and played a Gibson, Les Paul model guitar painted with red and white stripes for the crowd at Houston's downtown convention center.

No biggie, but lets be accurate :-)

It's an ongoing effort to attack all things conservative.

100 protestors? Is that accurate, or is that liberal math?

Let's see accuracy in reporting..........bad math......

I'd say they fail on both counts.

Ole Ted is nutty! I met his wife a year or two ago, and she's a sweet lady. Lord only knows how the hell she puts up with him! She's probably as crazy as he is!

"It was just the two of us"

Typical liberal protester crowd and usually tons of MSM cropping the picture to make it look like a major protest.

During the election season for POTUS, I remember going to a Bush rally in PA. and out of the hundreds of people who were there to support GWB a handful showed up for John Kerry. Guess who the media wanted to interview? Even as many of us kept approaching the reporter telling her to interview us. She wanted nothing to do with us, telling the camera man to turn off the camera when she wished to address us.

Thats nothing!
During the 2000 election a liberal and very popular Radio Station here in the Metro Detroit (WWJ 950) area was giving updates every 5 minutes that Kerry would be in the area later that day (Labor Day) and never once announced that Bush was visiting Macomb County (bordering Detroit) later too. Bush was holding a big rally!!
I had to call and complain before they began reporting that G.W. Bush was was going to be in town.
The Producer acted as if he forgot. Yeah, I bet he did.
