Could have, could have, could have... doesn't change the facts or the law. Twisting it this way and that doesn't change the fact that Schiavo remained her next of kin and her guardian, under Florida law.
Impeach Greer! Do something, if you want him off the bench.
But, I suspect interest will wane and he'll be sitting on the bench years from now.

sORRY, can't help you. You will have to ask Greer why he wouldn't let that in.
I believe, she told her brother and her friend whom she planned on moving in with. She said she wanted to if she could get the courage up - something to that effect.
Or perhaps it's just another conspiracy? :)

Murder by one's own hand, by the hands of another individual, or by the hands of the government is wrong, no matter how many legalistic tomes you post.

There was no murder committed in this case and only a lunatic would assert there was.

Your vitriol suits you, lots of noise, little arguement of fact. Like the media.

There was no murder committed in this case and only a lunatic would assert there was. Well, okey-dokey.
I watched her family come out the door of that death trap called a hospice weeping day after day as they watched their daughter and sister die like a concentration camp victim.
You can call it a 'beautiful and wonderful release' along with Felos if you want, but if you did the same thing to a dog, you'd go to jail.

But my days as a party activist and organizer are over. I have other things to do with my life. I can't say that I blame you. My point was that I don't think that the FR feuds over the TS case are in any way indicative of a growing trend in the GOP (with a caveat). I will continue to support President Bush on the WOT and GOP congresscritters whenever they decide to stop talking abou the nuclear option and actually do something.
But I think that the TS case has prematurely exposed the pro-choice element of the GOP (anecdotally here on FR) and as such should give pause to anyone concerned about judges. The big tent may be housing fiscal conservatives who were drawn in when RR was President but there hasn't been a time in history like now where the issue of life has been more pressing since 1973.
The question is: Is the right to life a Republican party position? And if so, should the party define it?

There was plenty of food all over the hospice. All Terri had to do was get up and get some. Oh, but there was a court order from Greer that no food or drink was to touch her mouth.
Such an act would have been a violation of the death warrant.
