"I figured either I was going to have to pull the trigger or I'd be dead," said Grammer. Good decision!

Janet Grammar needs to upgrade her weaponry. She hit the robber in the chest, fired two more times (not clear if she hit him with those shots) and he still initially got away. Now we all have to pay for his medical costs and trial.

She's a mother of ten, name is Grammer,
says nothing about her being a gramma,
altho at age 64, she may well be.

M.J. McCawley strings police tape in front of the Apple Gate Food Store at Wesconnett Boulevard and 105th Street after a shooting there Thursday. A clerk shot a would-be robber who fired first. RICK WILSON/The Times-Union

Oh, That's not the place I was thinking of.
I thought it was the Gate gas station on Westconnett and 103rd.
To: SMARTY
Shot the perp once.
Reads as if she hesitated before firing again and missed her opportunity to complete the cycle of life.
To: onyx
Yeah, yeah, I know. Whatever. She looks like a gramma - good enough for me. Point is, you can never tell who's going to refuse to go down without swinging first.
