Hey, might be. The title suggests that it's AQ who are the dunces, not the manipulative government.
I always get suspicious, though, when an apparent leftist complains about government or press manipulation. We get stories about how the press is soooo much easier on Bush than they were on Clinton.

Excuse me, last I remember the Left is in power in the UK and Conservatives usually complain about "government or press manipulation". When did Conservatives become trusting of govt?

No.
I was just saying that I get suspicious when lefties complain about it. Doesn't mean it isn't there, it's their motives I question.

Of course, none of this is to say that Bourgass is a complete innocent; his repeated stabbing of an unarmed police officer suggests otherwise. Ah, yes. That's one of the warning signs I like to look for when deciding on whether someone is dangerous or not. If he's murdered a police officer with a kitchen knife recently, it's better than an even chance that he is.

I don't see this author's position as indicated in this article as as an indication of him being a Leftist, especially knowing his job description.

Not so fast, you could be right - I was just looking to see what influenced your thinking.
